  • A look at how I put my Esee Izula survival kit to use by integrating parts of the "kit" onto the sheath and knife itself. This setup allows me to have multiple "emergency/survival" tools all contained on a capable little blade at only 4oz.

Okay, vid. is four years old. But a new option for a sharpener would be to go to Leatherman's official website and buy a spare sharpener designed for their Signal model. It's very small, thin, though not completely flat. Diamond dust coated. Works well on small bladed knives.

I have the SOG Pocket Sharpener w/ ferro rod, diamond and ceramic all in one tool under my paracord wrap on the back of my sheath.

Sog has a small thin sharpener. It has mixed reviews though. I own the smiths survival sharpener. It's a neat idea but quite thick and pull thru sharpens suck. Especially for such a quality blade. I have a izula 2 and thinking about just a small ceramic rod. Lansky or gerber have some.
