Becky, your backyard looks like it's straight out of a magazine! I remember when you guys first bought the house and how the yard looked. You two have done an incredible job!!
Same! And I wonder every time how she's not at 1 mil yet. She just received a LOT of mentions on another YT channel this past week. The content creator (more of a home decor, diy, crafting, lifestyle channel) is thinking of starting a garden and asked for advice. So many ladies (it's mostly women) recommended Becky's channel for several reasons, even though she's not looking for anything on such a large scale. Fingers crossed that people stopped by to check Becky out and stayed to subscribe!
I just read your comment and happened to look up and see that I was no longer subscribed to her channel... It's weird because I know I had subscribed at least a year ago.
Vodka doesn’t freeze due to the high alcohol content but wine will 😊however it won’t taste that great for drinking straight but perfect for cooking or making something like sangria.
Becky, I am a retired Home Economics / Culinary Arts teacher. Even though I taught for 25 years, I am learning new cooking tips from you. You have inspired me to attempt to grow different varities of vegetables and get out of my "comfort" zone. The chicken looks amazing! One safety tip. When adding liquor to a pan. It would be better to turn off your gas flame. Just incase you spill the liquor. This will prevent ingniting your pan and the contents. Trust me I know as a teacher, kitchen fires are no fun. Well done. Grade A+
I was just a year one teacher but when I read your comment I really wanted to say that in your role you single handily taught so many kids who were then able to at the very least cook a meal for themselves as young adults. 😊
@@amyrivers4093 Appricate your comment. Over the years students have returned to tell me how they have intergrated the skills learned into their lives. My hope is that they are able to cook simple to moderately difficult receipes for themselves and family. Perhaps, the more people cook at home the less weight and helath issues the public will have. Big money saver also. Glad Home Ecomonics is still taught in schools. All the best.
You get helpers in the kitchen when the guests feel loved and comfortable in your home and know they won't be unduly criticized for whatever they do to help.
Becky, you make every gathering so very special! The food looks delish, the table and flowers so classy, and all the love you expended just blossoms! You are such an example of the perfect hostess, so sweet and loving! Hugs my precious friend!

Food is definitely your love language. Your part looks like it was a hit! I’ve found through the years that most guests love to help out with the finishing touches getting everything ready. It makes them feel useful and also that they were a part of creating such a beautiful party. No matter how large or small of a role they play. I use too insist on doing it all until one day, one of my best friends told me that with not letting them help, I was stealing their joy that they would have by getting to help out. I’ve never forgot that and if anyone asks if they can help out, I don’t hesitate to allow them.
I woke up to a notification that you were on. It's the only time this old body gets out of bed like a young girl. 😂 I love, love spending time in your kitchen and garden with you.
Hi Becky! Here's a tip for baking a Pav from an Aussie who loves them!! Before you put anything onto the parchment paper (we call it Baking Paper here in Oz)...dob a bit of the pav mix onto the 4 corners of the paper, turn the paper over and use it to 'stick' the paper to the baking tray...stops the paper moving around. Yummy!
Did you notice Becky calls it Pap-lova and she wrote it as palpavo. Love it. She bakes a million times better than she pronounces our beloved Pav 🥳🇦🇺🥰🤣
Award winning prep and meal! The table was stunning! How wonderful to get to harvest all of your flowers from your own beds! Such a blessing to get to continue to celebrate your grandmother.❤
Hello Becky, i'm from Indonesia. My english not so well ☺. Just want to say you're blessed for having a calm and quite place to live at, i love place like that, perfect for singing and play guitar.
Becky I think that you are capable of building a business comparable to the legend Martha Stewart! You are truly one amazing Woman and in every sense of the word. Energy level seemingly through the roof 😅.
I liked Martha, but her recipes were atrocious! Half the time they didn't come out at all and the ones that did tasted terrible. I was so relieved when I read the same thing several places - I thought it was me and couldn't understand since I'm a good cook. She did improve with age. And I just could t stand Ina. Good food, but didn't care for her personality. Becky, on the other hand, is spectacular! She's on a plane a couple of levels up from Martha and Ina. She's sweet and pleasant, explains things well, keeps it moving and doesn't get all bogged down, and her food is delicious!
Family is so important and everything looked great!! One suggestion ( I do this all the time), If you're going to prepare a table and have it sit, cover it with another table cloth or turn all the eating pieces over so no dirt or bugs get on them before you're ready to eat. ☺
Wow, what a treat to watch you for 1.5 hours! You certainly have a great life. You accomplish so much. Makes me so happy when there's a video you put out.
This time of year the bunnies usually have a small nest of babies. They like to hide them in a shallow depression under a plant or tree with low branches or high grass to hide them. Mom does not sit with her babies but she is nearby so that she can lure predators away from her nest by chasing her. She only feels them at dusk and dawn when the majority of predators are not out.if you find the nest, just leave it alone as moms usually come back when you are gone.
Oh my goodness! Your yard looks beautiful! What a lovely dinner party...and best of all with great family that you don't get to always see. What a blessing! I loved this video. And Josh is a doll! So sweet to help out so much. He's like your Dad.
Beautifully done, Becky. Your garden, the food, the desserts, your tablescape and your family are all examples of your love for the life that you lead. Thank you for sharing this slice of it with us. 🥰 I love it that bunnies live in your garden. 🥰🥰
What a beautiful, beautiful dinner! It was special in so many ways. I love how close you are with your family. I know how frustrating it can be when you’re ready to bake and realize your yeast is no longer fresh. I keep the majority of my yeast in the freezer and a small amount in the refrigerator. On a day when I plan to bake I take out the amount of yeast I need and let it come to room temperature. My yeast lasts a very long time this way.
Thank you so much for sharing your life with us, Becky! The love you display shows exactly how much love and support you have in your life as well! I just purchased 30 pounds of blueberries from a local farm and processed them all yesterday. I froze enough for several pies and probably 6 batches of muffins. I also made 12 half pints of jam. I have enough left in my fridge to last my family for a week's worth of snacking and/or yogurt topping for breakfasts. I love your videos and have watched every one that you have on UA-cam. Again, many thanks and huge kudos on your famiky dinner, table setting and beautiful homegrown flowers. I am eagerly waiting to see the rest of your harvest this year. I love seeing the bounty and blessings you produce. Sadly, due to medical issues and repeated surgeries I was not able to plant my garden this year. I will hopefully be back at it next season though. Until then, I will share in your joy from afar. Hugs and cheers from BC, Canada!
Wow, what a beautiful view! Becky, you outdid yourself this time. The table along with the flowers was elegantly stunning! The food looked mouthwatering and plentiful! Thank you for sharing the headless (haha) bodies of your family as we wondered what they looked like. Thank you for sharing your special time with your family with us. You are the best!
I live in Australia, and everyone loves Pavlova, especially at our Summer Christmas. The dessert is believed to have been created in honour of the ballerina Anna Pavlova touring Australia and New Zealand in the 1920s.
I literally came to the comments to see if there was a fellow New Zealander or Australian about Pavlova 😁 it can so easily go wrong when making pav so I was anxious waiting to see how they turned out

I love how many dinner gatherings/parties your family does. We used to do weekly Sunday dinners until my father in law died. We had them mainly for him because he was the patriarch of a large family. Now, we still have once a month dinners with about 12-14 people (that’s counting six kids). Your party planner has come in handy. Thanks for all the ideas. I think there’s 40 garlic clove chicken in our future. ❤
When my kids were growing up, we had so many dinner parties. Actually, I don't think I could accomplish a large party anymore. I sure enjoy watching Becky put a party together. Ah, the memories!
I understand. I'm 70. I lost my first husband to cancer. We were married 30 years. My dad passed in 2016 and now my mom this March. I'm now the eldest person in the family. It sure feels strange. Do you feel like that too?@@patjones5723

Wow Becky look how beautiful your garden looks - loved today it was such a cool mix of cooking, entertaining, seeing the garden and seeing you enjoy your family time. So cool to see your hard work blossom and bloom x

Becky I discovered your channel about 6 months ago and you inspired me to plant a garden this year. I am in MD (not even sure what zone). I planted two each of Roma and beefsteak tomato plants and five different peppers (just went to local market and picked out five plants). Sugar snap peas and zucchini and yellow squash harvest done planted a second squash to see if I can get more. I have already made marinara sauce, pizza sauce (in the freezer), salsa, tomato jelly, pickled hot peppers and have been eating from the harvest all summer. Thank you for all the tips and hoping to grow more next year I invested in a green stalk for my herbs on your recommendation. Can’t wait to see what you harvest next. My garden is only the size of one of your boxes as I have a very small yard. Love your channel and always happy when a new video comes
Loved your recipes, it all looked wonderful, thanks for the zucchini idea! Happy tears as your family showered you with love by restoring your kitchen and yard to express their love to you🌹you have so many blessings, I know you know that, it’s a beautiful life for your and your sweet Family, God bless you all❣️

Everything looked yummy and beautiful. Your yard and garden are beautiful. You are blessed because your a blessing. You and Josh meant for each other. Good job 😊
I have always enjoyed your informative and fun cooking videos, but this one was wonderfully done. It made me miss my chef/catering days and big get-togethers, weddings and events we cooked for. I love your recipes and dinner ideas and look forward to trying a few of them. Keep up the awesome work and just know that we love you too. You are an awesome cook and wonder at preserving and trying new things. Thanks for the inspiration. I'm older and at times don't have the health for doing extra and unique meals, but I still try.
I have made a desert that is meringue based. It take 3 days to make. 1st day: make a meringue that is put in a 9x13 and baked 2nd day: is a cream cheese like pudding like layer on the meringue then refrigerate. 3rd day: 2 or 3 berries layer added on top of the meringue cream cheese layers. Wonderful light desert
Becky, you are amazing in all that you do. I am grateful to come along on your extravagant family get-togethers ....precious . No need to go to a park as your yard has everything anyone would love to relax and unwind. The kids must have so much fun running on that lovely race-track lawn. Yay for lovely bread !! Amazing food preparation for this family event. Really, if everyone focused on family fun as you do.... this world would be a better place. Thank- You !!

Your family is blessed to have you cook this incredible meal...thankyou for allowing us into your home & showing us how to cook these amazing meals...cheers from Australia 👏👏👏😍😍😍
I’m English and we always parboil potatoes before we roast them, it helps soften the middle while making the outside crispy. I usually only boil for 10 minutes but always check with a knife only the outside is soft and not to overdo them. You can also coat in a bit of polenta when you shake them up before roasting to make them extra crispy
It brings me joy to know and see that your family expressed their gratitude through clean-up for you. You worked so hard on the specal "Garlic Party" 🧄🎉 meal and you clearly give effortlessly to others. So glad some people can enjoy the outdoors! It’s so humid and hot here you can’t hardly breathe😊
@@TyMoore1234 the weather in the northwest is very dry in summer and where I live in central Washington state, it’s dry year round. 11 inches of rainfall per year! Becky is farther west but it’s dry there in summer, too. We definitely get very hot here, but it’s a dry heat, so more tolerable.
If you get watermelons this year, try cubing it, freeze it, & add it to your lemonade and blend. Absolutely summer!✝️✨️📿🙏🏻😇

Becky, we all love how personalable you are and very comfortable in front of the camera. I love you. Thank you.
You are such a good hostess. Having Josh as your assistant helps so much!! Your table will look amazing with those beautiful flowers. Dinner looks delicious. Good job!!
It must be so nice that now that Josh is working with you, he can be involved in prep too. Enjoy each other’s help !
Wonderwoman Becky!! It was a fabulous 1 n a half hours watching the whole thing! I'm now an official gardener, thanks to following you a few years. I don't know if any of the garden plants will be as successful as yours, however, I did buy my Amazon seeds, n a good deal popped up, although I'm not too sure about the seasons or how they'll actually come to fruition. Meanwhile, the table n the flowers were exquisite! N the spead heavenly! It takes a lot of blood, sweat, n tears to be there n show up for others with the very best, n you've done it every single time I've seen you. Wonderwoman Becky, may the Lord prosper you for your limitless heart. Lotsa love to Josh, n your beloved family we encounter every so often here. Love n regards from India.
What an incredible meal! It's so lovely that you have such a big family to enjoy these dinners with. I miss those times. Oh! And your flowers! I just love love love all of your beautiful flowers, Becky!

My back hurts just watching you do all this work in one day but it all came out beautifully! How are you not at 1 million subscribers already?
What a gorgeous looking dinner and tablescape! Bravo to you and to the family for being so helpful!!
Becky, you are amazing in all that you do. I am grateful to come along on your extravagant family get-togethers ....precious . 🍀!
Becky, I love your cooking videos & all the food looks so delicious!
Your garden looks absolutely amazing, I remember when you purchased it & to see what you have done, it's just a marvel!
Your family is blessed to have you cook this incredible meal...thankyou for allowing us into your home & showing us how to cook these amazing meals...cheers from Australia 👏👏👏😍😍😍
OH, I enjoyed this dinner party so much! Thanks for inviting us along on the journey.
I envy your energy Becky! This meal was such beauty, graciousness and looked delicious!
Your cooking is my favorite show!! I loved the one with your mother too. This is my second show, but I will be watching them all .
It brings me joy to know and see that your family expressed their gratitude through clean-up for you.
You worked so hard on the specal "Garlic Party" 🧄🎉 meal and you clearly give effortlessly to others.
To be helped in such a thoughtful way is a gift that, you could hear in your voice, touched you deeply.

Hey Becky, This looks like a delicious and welcoming dinner party. I know your family can feel how glad you are to spend time with them. I wonder if you’ve tried keeping your yeast in the freezer. I used to do that and my yeast never went bad. I love the way your table scraping skills are developing, they just keep getting more beautiful.
