Because of the countless islands (Not counting Greenland and the Faroe Islands) and water all around, "tiny" mainland Denmark has more than 7,300 kilometers of coastline/beach (or more than 4500 miles), which is actually more than Spain and Turkey and slightly less than Italy, including 250 Blue Flag beaches and 50 Blue Flag marinas, so it's fairly easy finding crowd-free beaches.
Hey C2H! Enjoyed this week's VLOG (with Sue sat beside me) - as I had told her how lovely the Danish scenery / landscape is & she wanted to see for herself! I went to Fredrickshaven on my first ship in the Navy, Copenhagen too - i was about 17 and all I remember is how expensive a beer was!! (shows what the priority was then) haha! & as you said, food is expensive too - but their standard-of-living is much higher. It does indeed look very peaceful, so thanks for taking us for a look around! *Sue asked; "How old is Holly?" .... & I couldn't quite remember but I seem to think 7?? Drive safe, stay safe & look out for each other on your travels around Scandinavia & I look forward to the next one. N1S Kev x
Finally able to watch your latest vlog. Brings back fond memories of our own drive through Denmark. It’s a lovely country with fascinating scenery. And ad always love the Dron stuff.
Denmark so far has not been a country at the top of my bucket list, but the lovely scenes of the beaches and forrests that you Show, steadily move this country up on my list. I am esprcially impressed with the facilities. Campfire places plus free wood, that is wonderful. The only thing: It is a little too flat there for my liking or have they got hills there as well?
Yeah the facilities are top ! Really fun to enjoy nature in Denmark 🇩🇰 There are some hills but no huge mountains, they're in Norway hopefully we'll make it there too 🙂
All beaches in Denmark are open for the public, even the (few) private ones, it is by law. Prices: I think Denmark has the second-highest average wages in Europe, after Luxemburg. So Swedes living in Malmö, love to work in Copenhagen.
We have that money counting machine here in Malta Charlene, you've been away too long! 😂😂Maypole at the end of my street has one. It counts the coins or you can insert a note and it gives your change. Another great vlog guys! Enjoy and take care ❤
Ah thanks so much - yeah I guess everywhere will be like this one day. I'm sure we will see a big difference next time we come to Malta, who knows what else has changed 😊
I'm so glad I found your channel, your vlogs are superb!! Denmark is a lovely country and surprisingly so flat, a bit like Holland. Do you know which animal Denmark has more of than people, and yet you never see them? Yes, it's Pigs!
Hey you two bit late in watching your video was in hospital stomach pains, all ok now. It's hot here 28 hot hot and 🥵 Great to see you both ❤ Take care X X X
The facilities in Denmark for motorhomes/campervans etc are impressive. Loving the channel. Safe travels.
Really amazing and they just get better the further we go north ☺️
