You are so inspiring. Love your podcast. Yes you should treat yourself and cast that shawl on.
I'm doing one in noro katari color 1 and 18. Fit my budget and style just fine. Nice plush shawl.
What a great buy for you at 30 percent off. Good shopping skills girl.
I loved the first Lunae Shawl by Natasja Hornby. The mustard gold color is so brave and wonderful on your part. I just discovered you because of this shawl. You are so talented to interpret this in a new way.
Thank you for sharing your opinions !
First time watching, love it! ❤
I’m glad! ❤️
The Birch is on my list! Yours is beautiful.
Thanks! It’s getting lots of wear!
You did a beautiful job on the birch. I am enjoying your podcast!
Thanks you!!
Dances with Wool is my LYS! Love it there, you should visit in person!
I'll definitely have to head down there!
Just found your podcast and really enjoyed it. I live in Virginia too about midway between Richmond and Williamsburg. Love the Blue Ridge mountains. I love the Ghost Horses sweater. Want to do that for my daughter. I missed the yarn you used. I also love Dances with Wool. It's a beautiful shop and it would be well worth it to plan a trip to visit in person. Their shop is GORGEOUS!!! You will love it.
I'm using Drops Baby Merino for the main color and Malabrigo Arroyo for the contrast color. So far they're working out pretty well together and the low price of the Drops yarn made up for the pricier Malabrigo. I'll definitely have to make it down to Dances with Wool - glad to hear it's worth the trip!
The Dances with Wool sale got me good too 😂 I also stopped by to pick up the Emma’s yarn advent I preordered from them. So bad, but so good!!!!
You just can’t beat a sale like that!!
UA-cam suggested your podcast and I’m so happy they did! I really enjoyed watching. Also, my husband and I moved to Winchester, VA this May so I’m probably fairly close to where you are. I’m a longtime knitter and spinner so maybe our paths will cross someday. ❤
That would be so cool! Winchester is such a great area - my girlfriends and I had a shopping/wine day up there in the spring and it was so much fun. I’m glad you enjoyed the podcast and that you reached out!
Awesome job on your birch pull over! The recipients of your knitted gifts are very fortunate and they are going to love them!
Thank you! 🥰
Wow the lenae shawl is a masterpiece! I can't imagine knitting it twice 😊. I also can't count 😂 it is really bugging me in trying to make my first baby raglan. 😂 I'll get there. But it's good to know I'm not the only one with stitch count problems!! New sub 😁 phallic socks 🧦 😂😂 dying!! Beautiful 🐎 and 🐟 sweaters!! I adore horses 😍. My Thanksgiving was wonderful. My Mom is back East and local to me now and we joined her with my best friend.
I’m glad to hear you had a good Thanksgiving ❤️ Good luck with your baby raglan - I bet it’s going to be so cute!!
A new podcast for me! I live in central PA so the blue ridge has always been a special place for our family. I’m in the process of knitting 3 pairs of size 13 men’s socks!!! I might as well be knitting sweater sleeves! Love the podcast. Happy Holidays
“Knitting sweater sleeves” 🤣 That killed me lol but you’re absolutely right!!
OMG!! I just found your podcast and I’m soooo happy!! You’re an awesome knitter and funny too! Thank you for this gift. I’ve been looking high and low for someone who doesn’t fry my last nerve!😂
I’ll be watching your previous episodes this week ☺️
I’m glad to hear that! Thank you so much 😊
I made the socks for the challenge too. Love that pattern, they fit so perfect!!! Nice job! So quick and easy!
Super quick! I’ve got a pair of the fingering weight version on my needles and it’s taking forever in comparison lol. Glad you joined the challenge and finished your socks!
Love your sweaters! I would love to make the Birch pullover & ghost horses sweater(I am a crazy horse person). Love Spincycle yarn & got to visit their brick & mortar shop in the Spring! Very cool. What part of Maine did you visit? I live 45 minutes north of Freeport. I overnighted in Lexington, VA ( beautiful spot)on the way to Texas this Fall on a horse trip. Love your podcast!
Lexington is big horse country around here! They’re about 30 minutes south of where I live - gorgeous town. You should totally make the Ghost Horses and take your project pics with your horses 🐴 We stayed in Ogunquit for vacation and drove around between Portland and Portsmouth (too many Ports lol)
The Bearpaw Socks… yes… I couldn’t stop being slightly embarrassed the whole time I was knitting them 🍆🍆🤣🤣🤣
At least they look good when they’re on your feet 😂
