Everything was good until the end-texturizing thing. The point of the cut was to have an attractive blunt cut with strong ends. The "texturizing" takes that away.

I have never been able to cut my own hair straight and I’ve tried different tutorials, I gave this a go today and I could not believe how well it turned out! I was shocked when I looked in the mirror and my hair was so straight! I’m so happy I know how to do it now 😊

This is the best video I've found yet! Have been searching for several years and finally came up with a DYI method that looks okay. Since you've demonstrated the techniques I was thinking of trying next I may just follow your demo as-is. Thanks so much!

That was like 2 inches not half an inch but i agree it was needed. Also wearing a striped shirt helps and please make sure when checking your hair to have both sides saturated equally. Wet hair is way more elastic than dry hair.

Kind of confusing because the way you’re doing it once side you’re going one angle when you’re doing the back and then when you get to the other side you cut from a different direction angle and I just can’t wrap my brain around it it’s to early lol

Y put in 3 ties then cut under it seems like if you cut above it, it could stay in place I'm finishing watching now .

With the first two sections you got the straight cut. but by the end you had a U shaped haircut.

Did he (the professional) know that he was yanking through the knots in your hair, making broken ends? I was saying "ouch" for you every time he did that.
