Very good problem sir and beautifully explained sir. In fact this qn can be extended and can be asked like force on smaller hemisphere when it rotated by any angle also but concentric. Answer will be same.

In last step if one doesn’t remember field of hemisphere at centre he can go other way round. Find force exerted by point charge at centre on hemispherical charges using flux- force method. It will save effort of integration

Sir, why small sphere was considered a point charge wrt larger semi spherical shell.
Ravi, Small sphere will create same electric field as point charge so bigger sphere will never know if it is point charge or sphere.
