I learned InDesign over a decade ago and didn't need it until recently for a freelance project. This video helped so much! (I'm sure a lot has changed since I last used it). I know InDesign is the go-to program for multi-page documents in design, I just don't exactly know how to use it. This video, and I'm sure all of your others, will come in handy.

Just what I needed. Learning Indesign and the masterpage function is amazing. When setting up page numbers do you recommend a small text box or one that stretches across the page. I'm worried my numbers will look off after I print my books.
I always use a small one and have never had problems!

hi. thank you for the video. although i’ve still got a little problem - what is the difference between “A-Master” & “A-Parent”?? i ask because i see a-parent on my screen
They are exactly the same - just a new name.
how can we export certain pages having both A master and B master in it?
You can just export a page range (it doesn't matter which is applied, A or B).

You shouldn't have "Parent Pages" in your title if you're not going to explain Parent Pages...
Indesign changed the term “master pages” to “parent pages” after I uploaded this video, so I can’t change the video content. They’re exactly the same thing, just a new name.
