In this video we finish up the restoration of the RB 250 banjo neck with the first of 3 jobs yet to do, replacing the Mastertone script inlay block. Coming up, frets and finish.
Dave, I am just blown away by your meticulous craftmanship and skill...especially when I consider some of the relatively "clumsy" efforts at various projects of mine over the years! 😄 I am finding the videos far more entertaining and interesting than I ever would have guessed they would be! The anticipation continues to grow with each new one... 👍👍
Thanks for these videos Dave. I'm learning some new and different ways of doing things. I'm going to attempt to do some basic things to my banjos, but a bit reluctant, in fear of screwing something up. I've got several banjos and will practice on my lower quality one's before moving to my Stellings Thanks again.
Dave, I need one 'snowflake' inlay to complete a restoration of a Gibson TB3 tenor banjo. Could you refer me to a company that sells these? Thanks!!! Awesome video, too!!

Not sure why my name suddenly appears like that in my post? Didn't initiate it...

It might be prohibitively expensive, but Starrett sells rolls of gage stock you could cut to length.
I can't help but wonder what the asking price of this banjo will be upon completion? Looks to be a very nice instrument.
