Most people don't know this but per square mile Florida has more tornados than any othet state. These are weak tornados but there was an EF-3 that hit Kissimmee years ago. Also, due to the large number of mobile home parks in Florida there are more deaths associated with tornados.
Hurricane in the Summer, and now tornado in the winter..
