@@jaysummers9396 hell, I’ve been working in Asheville for over 15 years as an electrical engineer.. I laughed my ass off.. Asheville is one of the most sinful places I know…. I think God’s wrath was well deserved, and I WILL NOT lift a finger to help these people get power back on.. God is good, and Asheville got what it deserves. lol 😂

I’m praying for all the people affected by this devastation brought by hurricane Helene.
Two years after Ian, the islands here (SWFL) are still filled with debris, demolished homes, half sunken boats.
It takes years to clean and rebuild… and longer emotionally to recover. I have patients who just finished rebuilding from Ian and were flooded out again from Helene. 😢

So heartbreaking. I can't imagine what it would have been like to live through it.
Seriously, I wish everyone would stop focusing on Asheville. “Prayers for Asheville” what about the rest of NC? This isn’t one city that got destroyed it’s the entire western region of NC. I hope everyone gets rescued and helped but we need to start talking about the other thousand towns and cities in the mountain region that no longer exist. The fact you’re hearing from people in Asheville means they have more reach than these other places.

My apartment is on the other side of the river from that pile of cars and trailers. Luckily, mine was high enough, but watched as lower setting apartments flood to the second level. So many neighbors lost everything within a couple hours.

My daughter married the saturday before this. Grandma, whom they live with and take care of is 88 and grew up on that same mountain they all live on. SHE has never seen anything like this. Did i mention shes 88??

This is a sign from a higher power telling the people to stop being so mean to each other....in this area alot of people do things to bring hardship to others and are always hateful to each other!....open your eyes people this lesson is to show you all what we have once all the pritty little things are gone and all we have left are each other..so find peace in your hearts because the next one want be so easy on us!

I understand. The Houston area had similar days of rain with Hurricane Harvey. However, this area is flat, Gulf coastal plains with little elevation change. Hope they get the help they need. I supported a charity doing mobile feeding.

People have to realize that the speed and intensity of these storms has hit a point where their chances of survival if they don't evacuate are drastically reduced. Well over 100 people dead and more than 600 still unaccounted for...so far. Just a terrible price to pay for stubbornness.

We are still without power and water here in south Carolina it really sucks its been 5 days 4 nights now but im greatful and thankful to Jesus that me my family neighbors are all safe are homes are fine but other people many people nearby were not so fortunate im praying for all who are effected by this and yes north Carolina and parts of Tennessee really need help and prayers. Stay strong call on the Lord Jesus Christ he will help us keep us strong give us courage, peace ,love we will all get through this one day at a time.

Bad time for the East Coast Long Shoreman to have a strike. I hope these people can get supplies they need to rebuild.
Looks like the National Guard needs to be called in to clear the roads and streets of debris to help them get back on their feet in the towns.

@@williambaker90 the Asheville area has been an area known to be resistant to large weather events for the most part, this was not by any means something that people should have seen coming, the water swell broke all time records from a hundred years ago. So please do some research before making a dumbass statement like this
