I guess, because Lexus sell in Europe only that 2.0 Turbo or Hybrids and not the V6 3.5l like in North America. I also was thinking to buy this 2.0l Turbo, but after all Reviews including yours, i better stay away from this. And after i drove the 2012 GS450h twice, its so clear. Only this Hybrid or an 3.5 V6. If fuel consumption not important and enough cash there, the GSF, RCF, ISF V8 are also nice cars ;-)
@@starion9405 hey There! so couple things regarding Lexus: so while V8's are great - those cars are not daily vehicles and you will burn away alot of money on fuel ( while at first it might look irrelevant and you might think the funn is worth it) i think at some point you will regret wasting thousands of € or $ ... Hybrid in a year saves around 500€ on fuel for average person driving - more or less depends on milege - and the more you drive ? ofc the more you save ... and now to GS: 1. GS even in base line is superiour in every way to IS Luxury Line - electric seats, seat,wheel,mirror memory is a BASE of the car (atleast in europe) so lexus GS without those does not exist - while IS can be manual seats - no seat heating/ventilation and memory - making finding the IS with options you want pain in the ass ... GS has very good base options and you pretty much have to choose colors and milege you want and not bother to sacrifice any options - so finding the one want should be easier in my opinion ... 2. now even options aside the car is so much better - it rides much smoother, better noise isolation - and the seats are much more comfortable ( IS seats are all the same in base or luxury - only F-Sport has even more uncomfortable seats - the bolstering on the back - while too much doesnt bother me alot - but on the cushion you sit - the side bolstering is annoying as hell! especially for the left leg... on GS there is no such problem! and in GS Luxury Line you get so many more seat options - even some S class cars dont get them in base - and the ones that have them ? well they go new like 100k or used still 50-k which is way more then a used GS is going to sell ... so GS Luxury line in my opinion is the best Lexus out there for the "money per qaulity/comfort" if i would rate GS at 100% then IS would be the real MAX is 70% - i would actually even give it 65-60% is only worth it's money which is kinda bad ... 3. so GS 450h or 350 ? we have now in the family 3 Lexus cars - my "GS 300h - Executive", "GS 250 - Luxury", "IS 300h - Luxury" - yes mother has IS - cause GS is too big for her and she wanted a smaller car ... so driving both back to back IS is realy crappy compared to GS ... but mom still likes it. and now also i could drive both 300h and 250 back to back and here are some things i can say - 250 has obviously 6 speed instead E-CVT my Hybrid has and you can feel the shifts slightly on that 250 model ... also the car feels more heavy in the front V6 vs I4 ... and because the hybrid has electric motor which has 143 PS + 181 PS = combined 221 PS vs 208 PS in the V6 - so the numbers are almost the same right ? wrong! while 300h in top acceleration is even slower then 250 - it pulls from the start or while driving in a range 20-60 KM/h much better! especially you notice difference when starting to roll - the 250 feels much more heavier and LAZY and 300h has 300 nm of torque from just the electric motor alone which is available at 0 pretty much + 221 nm from the engine itself - while combined it sure isnt 500+nm but it's still much more then 250 has and this torque is available sooner ... while i have been comparing 300h with 250 here - those exact same rules apply to 350 and 450h - the Hybrid version is 0.4 faster according to numbers - it should pull better and - even if money is not a problem - why burn 500€ a year on gas when you can save it and buy something for the car itself or for your home and use this money on maintenance ? believe me! when swapping shitty IS 200t with a average consumption of 12l for the GS where i have now 7l (yes i drive quite aggresive - GS can go 6l) i saved alot of money in those 2.2 years already ... + in Germany for example the Hybrid has to pay 100€ less for the tax in a year - meaning i can drive 1 month out of 12 in a year for free ? what not to like about this ? 3. a bit more specialty in Hybrid ... Hybrid saves not only fuel but also brake pads - the wear in front will be around 70% less and in the back more then 50% - but for me it's a bonus instead - i simply like the fact that brake dust doesnt cover my wheels as much ( in the back it is almost non existent) so instead of washing wheels every week - i can do it only once in 2 weeks (not that i am lazy but it saves even more money again) ... another thing - while gas engine can go like 450 km on a single tank 66l - my hybrid can go atleast 800km SAVE! and it could even go 900 (but would not recommend cuz fuel is the coolant for the fuel pump and sucking it dry is a bad idea) - so in Germany fuel price changes daily multiple times a day and can be 5 cent more or less and it changes alot weekly - while what is 5 cent ? but when you tank at once 50L or so you may lose 2.5 euro which is almost 2 liters of fuel i am losing ... it adds again after a year ... in gas engine you will be forced to tank at some point once your fuel goes down ... and it does alot! in Hybrid i can drive twice the distance and choose the day where fuel is the cheapest to tank and not waste even more money! also things that alot of ppl dont realise but it's important! Hybrid will cure your nerves! i am not kidding! while sitting in trafic alot ( i drive 99% town only) so sitting on my is 200t i was only burning fuel at stop and with this consumption and going to gas station almost every week it starts to piss you off real fast - i rly hated IS after just 3-4 months already ... in GS Hybrid i sit in trafic with motor off 100% of time ( also it has brake hold assistent which IS doesnt has on any model - it will only get it on the newest one 2021+) and as far as i know only Hybrid GS models have Brake Hold! which for me now is a big deal! i will never drive car without it - once you get used it it! you never go back ... so yes i sit on my GS in traffic - engine is off 0 noise while clima is still running , my seat heat/ventilation is running and even just sitting still in GS is more comfortable! there are more facts why hybrid is better then the regular gas engine but i have writte a huge wall of text already ... anyway i will try to make a video review this summer and show it pretty much to every detail and a video format ... so stay tuned! so moral of the story! ofc if you can you should test drive both GS 350 and 450H and see which one you like ? but i know already what i like and i would go ONLY HYBRID! also yes like i said - in Europe on Hybrid have Brake Hold which for me - is a very big deal! and in 99% town driving - i would not want to have a car without it ... so make ur choise!

At the test drive of the GS, i didnt notice the brake hold. I think its a thing you appreciate at daily driving in the city. The GS interior quality is very impressive Indeed. I prefer the F-Sport version. How much km you drive approximately in one year?
@@starion9405 hello again. i drive around 8-10.000 km a year ... once i drove 950 km in 1 day - we went across half Germany to buy a dog friend for my doggy - they didnt like eachother sadly ... but GS drives like a Terminator :D - whole time driving autobahn 160+ this whole trip and zero problems ... also i went to Berling multiple times (400km) to buy those 2 new lexus and my GS just goes on and on with 0 complaints :) ... if you have skype or discord i could send you there some of my GS photos and tell you anything special you want to know maybe ?

Why an IS350 from Japan? Its RHD. Better an Import from Canada, there you have LHD and metric instruments. Go for an GS450h from 2012-... I think also to buy such, or maybe an Canada Import GS350 or RC350. By the way, not make the mistake to buy an Import car from USA. The most of those you can buy in Europe, are precrashed and repaired in Lithuania. Its a big risk. Infiniti cars are unfortunately almost like Renault. They use much crappy parts of Renault. Even the Red Sports Edition has an nice engine.

П.С. если интересно то я свой ИС уже как пару месяцев продал ... и после около полу года владением считаю 200т хламом! и мотор и коробка полная срань ... машина для города очень плохо подходит особенно коробас последнее время бесил 7-8-7-8 итд... поменял IS на GS 300h того же года с доплатой ... ГС как по качеству так и по комфорту просто на голову выше ИСки... ИС только смотрится по (новей, спортивней, круче.) но на этом его плюсы кончились ... катаюсь на ГСе и кайфую.

не чуть а гораздо быстрее!... и к чему этот комментарий ? я именно 200т показываю а не М5 ... как по мне 2015+ GS 450H идеальная машина! 5.9 сек до сотни и при этом расход ни о чём! а быстрее этого нет смысла ездить ... мне и 9 сек на моём GS 300h достаточно...
