Our daily dose of love as we watch Ed melt our hearts and see Danielle and Dan give themselves daily to care for him. One of the most beautiful families 🥰
I did this for my mother and my grandfather 20yrs. My grandfather lived to 102. My mom 85.I found a college student and gave them free room and board for help. She had Friday night, and all of Saturday and Sunday off. Having helped will save your sanity
As a Fan of Dan & Ed's channel I have to say you couldn't have found better representatives of what it is to lovingly care for an aging parent than Dan & Danielle. Good interview.
I am subscribed to their UA-cam channel and I enjoy it. Dan is very open when Dad is having a bad morning, etc but he also rejoices when Ed is having good moments.
Dan ,Danielle and Mark ,you have been and still are amazing care givers with lots of compassion .❤❤❤❤God bless you all .Your Dad ,is always a joy to watch and he is caring and thoughtful of others .
@@BrandyUA-cam99 the youngest one is Josh. He was from Ed's second marriage, so he's a bit younger than the other five and has small children. (He is around though. I forget what he does for work, but all the siblings are successful so he probably stays busy. His wife is Rocky, and she and Danielle are very close.) Dave is oldest, he's the doctor. Mark, Sis (forget her name) and the other son I think is Adam, Dan, and Josh.
It's amazing how Dan and Danielle helped to care for Grandpa. I watched their UA-cam here from Nigeria, and i feel happy for the great work that they are doing. Even in the third world, people no longer affectionately care for the elderly without them being this sick,it is sad. Thanks to Dan,Danielle,Mark,Josh, and other family members.
I love watching them on UA-cam❤ Dr Ed has such a kind heart and his son takes right after him. Two wonderful people and we can’t forget Dans beautiful wife
We have this in our house, brings the family together to care for my dad. It does get a bit hard but we have a lot of help. My cousin recommended I watch this. It’s good to see you are not alone and families are living with seniors with dementia and caring for them. We also do 40hz sound meditation that we feel helps a lot. And Ashwagandha
Dan & Danielle, If your dad was in a home for dementia, he would be so much worse off than he is now. You have given him something/someone to live for every day. ❤❤❤
My dad had quick onset dementia & we lost him at home October 2023 right before his 98th birthday. I enjoy watching Grandpa Ed & his loving caregiving family & know they are inspiring & encouraging others to care for their loved ones at home too. God Bless Caregivers Everywhere.
❤ we follow the whole family watch all the videos such a beautiful loving family they don't sugarcoat anything we love you all sending you a huge shout out from Connecticut❤☕💯❤
Please include their website link. Its extremely uplifting to see this especially since being impacted by a father who started to have dementia before he passed away a little over a year ago and then, within six months, my wife was diagnosed with FTD. Its just been unbearable to see her struggle with things for the first time. When a loved one becomes the victim of this illness, its just terrible. At the same time, those moments when they are fine and act like the same person you have known for years are just so special. That hope is so important for loved ones and care givers. The experience makes you appreciate every good time you share with anyone important in your life. Happy Father's Day Dad....
I’m doing it for my husband for 2 years very hard but he always telling me you’re my mom I tell him him I’m your wife he said the wife doesn’t do what u doing for me only mother do , always repeating himself waking up all night always like to sleep , i always watching u and learn from u so I can see how to deal with him god bless u all
Ed hasn't been to Marks since last October since he has health problems, but he does help with short term care. And of course Danielle who does most of the work.
2 peas in a pod when it comes to their resemblance…given , as they r father n son, but dang….love this son….when u have had outstanding parents, this behaviour by the offspring is the result….Jah Bless
All Westerners need to understand that they have a complete and full responsibility to their aging parents who raised, and cared for them all their lives....it shouldnt have to be said, but sadly, its an issue that needs to be focused on. Society and governments as a whole, should value, support and care for the elderly with all they have. It is how you define and judge a society
It can turn very different way, I have a neibough whose mum has the same problem, year by year he becomes so frustrated, he said he did not wish his mom die but his own life is blocked, he can’t just travell and his mom does not want to go to shelter, he wants it but mom does not, she can’t even remember how to open, lock the door… my respect to those who have so much patient as care givers. Dr Ed brings a lot of laughters to me, he can be forgetful but always be a standard father which make his children respect him in any period of his life.
Well the son is lucky.. the dad ain't that bad. My dad was so bad u had to be right there six inches apart so he didnt run off. . And he did many times and he'd open car doors going down the road. People need to be aware what teally goes on.
This is nice, truly.. but most of us don’t have money like that. My dad died when I was younger and never made it to that point but if he had he’d be pretty well F’d. Guess it’s good he died first. Maybe if he’d have raised me better I’d be more well off. 🤷he did try.

Many folks would put Ed in a nursing home. Good for you Dan. Ed would not get that family love in a nursing home. 😊❤
Dan an Ed are the best!
I love watching them on UA-cam❤ Dr Ed has such a kind heart and his son takes right after him. Two wonderful people and we can’t forget Dans beautiful wife
And Dan's brother Mark.
I watch these guys, it's super cute. His dad reminds me of a doctor I had as a little kid.
Beautiful!!!
That was beautiful, but they forgot to credit and mention who Danielle is and what she does for our beloved retired doctor Ed Sallinger:(

They never mentioned that’s Dan’s brother takes care of him half of the time.
Dan's brother doesn't really like to be shown.
Or Danielle who does the bulk of the work.
