I did some research on this topic before I bought this, what I found was if you go below the level of the Maxicom I have, you're paying too much for what you're getting in terms of functionality....Things do change all the time so if you research, I'm sure you can find cheaper alternatives. Obd11 is a good system for instance (covers a lot in V.A.G category)

@@noorshah96 it did throw me off because the price said $49.99 and it took $69.99 must be a currency difference. But I also didn't want to paid additional fees after purchase but it's a 1 time payment.
