@@ndvs4391 thanks for sharing this! Can you make this a comment, one of it’s own standing? I know many people would enjoy seeing this funny (& time stamped) video!
Duda said in the interview he saw the mate in 11, and calculated it few times to make sure it works. Otherwise it would be a disaster - those are his words
God damn it's been years since a morphy head, barnes head or tal head was awarded on this channel. Glad to see it return in this modern masterpiece. Duda's been killing it lately.
He said in interview that he spotted it pretty quickly, but he had to check it for 1000 times not to blunder. What's even more interesting, he said that after Re7+ Kg8 he would continue with Rg7+ Kh8 Rh7+ Kg8 Nh6# just to mate with the Knight because in his opinion it's even more beautiful.
Duda said that he was considering giving mate by knight (... 33.Re5+ Kf7 34.Re7+ Kg8 35.Rg7+ Kh8 36.Rh7+ Kg8 37.Nh6#), because it's somehow better to mate by knight than rook. So yes, he calculated whole sequence :D
Omg!!.Its confirmed, he is the legitimate son of STockfish and Alphazero!!.To see this beauty with such precision in rapid time is inhuman.sheer beauty.!! He deseves two Morphy heads !!
I rarely if ever comment on your videos, but you do a great job. I like how you don't spend forever on the openings. Always appreciate your content. Cheers
I applauded when Duda was awarded the Morphy head, I hope I didn't wake up my roommate! I literally had thought of Morphy after the Rf5+ move capturing the black knight, with the rook being defended by the bishop on b1
#suggestion GM Mark Paragua vs. FM Tanitoluwa Adewumi, New York Fall Invitational 2022. Tani won a beautiful and complex attacking game with the black pieces at 12 years of age!
I'm sad you haven't checked my email with the recorded pronunciation of Jan-Krzysztof Duda :-(. A spectacular game nonetheless and an excellent commentary, as usual, Agad.
Can someone name the list of Morphy Head winners? I found some of them - Giri Vs Nepo (Legends of Chess) Naiditstch Vs Keymer (Greneke Chess Classic) Yu Yangi Vs Wesley So (The Superfinal)
Duda looks like he's going to join the 2800 club real soon. You know it's funny, they're not any better than they were decades ago. But with all the tournaments they can play now it's far easier to raise your Fide rating if you're a top player. Think about it, Bobby Fisher was the first to 2700 in 1972! It took 17 years for Kasparov to become the first to 2800 in 1999! Now there are 14 Grand Masters, 12 of which are active that have, at one time in their career, broken 2800 and all but Kasparaov have only done so since 2011!
So was it a blitz game or a rapid game? The letter in the bottom right indicates that it was a blitz game, but Agad said on 9:38 that it was a rapid game...
so, (by the way, brilliant work agad👍🙂) is the morphy head list available on line or do we need to convince harrison ford to 'unretire' and dodge some poison arrows in an attempt to procure the vaunted scroll?
Quite possibly the best placed bishop ever (b2). You should have highlighted this move in your commentary as it is the move that made everything possible. Outstanding!
Why was the Morphy head appropriate you might ask? Well, its not actually because of all the crazy sacs. Its because all of White's pieces were used to facilitate checkmate.
Would this be possible for you to show us the compilation of the clips from all the videos where Morphy's head was awarded? Would be awesome in itself to see all genius yet elegant blows like the legend Paul Charles Morphy ☺️
🤣🤣🤣! 10:20 “The Most Prestigious Award Available in the World”! This entire line could be the catch phrase on “Agadmator’s Morphy Head Annual Prize for Very Talented Chess Players”.
Good Lord, EVERYTHING was sacrificed with Duda begging Anish to keep taking more to speed up mate in the end! Brilliant game. Duda is a special player; his ability to control his pieces is just beautiful. He's still kinda young so maybe he has more in him, and if he does, he could seriously make a run for the top spots in chess. What a player, his games are brilliant :^)
Anish said in his interview that Agadmator will show the complete line.
for real?

But he found mate in eleven

@@SelfEvident LMAO miss mate in 0. That's another level that no GM can comprehend

If true then the Morphy Head is all the more deserved.

Duda still smiling after he moves rook on g7 so i belive its true

Wow, duda is in form
Well deserved Morphy head prize 🏆
Nice comment.

This game shows absolute brilliancy.🌟
That bishop on b2 was an absolute SNIPER
B1 !

A spectacular victory for Duda.

Duda is a spectacular attacker. Can best anyone on his day.
This was a beautiful checkmating sequence. Duda saw this and couldn't help himself from smiling for a minute.
What a game! Worthy of the Morphy head indeed!
Whoa! Da Morphy Head appearance for Duda! Superb combo. Thanks for sharing, Antonio. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Not even single sequence, but many!
he preffers giving mate by knight because the knight is weaker than rook, and form him it is more beautiful
“Rg7+ Kh8 Rh8+??? Kg8?????? Nh6#” ?????????
I had thought the same in the pause the video moment XD

it seems that duda's games often have a certain flare and style but this is the creme de la creme!
Spectacular winning sacrifices. Well deserved Morphy head. Duda is one of the best.
I love watching these two play. Excellent game.
Queen to Bishop: "Cover us. We're moving in."
That bishop on b1 was the real MVP.
Our good old ed friend the Light Square Bishop
I can stop a forced checkmate in 11, by playing the wrong move right away because I don’t know what is the sequence. 😅
One of my favorite games I’ve seen this year. Beautiful combination and excellent pause the video moment.

Glad that you are aware how selective you should be with the award of the Morhy head. This game certainly qualifies.

Duda saw the full mate in 11! See the recap. His smile after Rxg7 means everything: ua-cam.com/video/JYkVKLdCQ-8/v-deo.html&ab_channel=ChessBaseIndia

One of the most beautifull games I ever seen.
A well-earned Morphy head!
i'm so happy that i've sppoted the move! seeing the continuation in my head just sparked so much joy. man, i love this game
The ending speaks for itself, Duda found mate in 11 but Giri only resigned when he saw mate in 5
He was still hoping for Rf4 (at 8:48)
Terminator chess. Simply ruthless!
What a brilliant game by Duda!
Absolutely filthy mating attack lines = Morphy Head
Just wonderful
Wish I could buy duda something
What spectacular game
Got the chills
Excellent game all those sacrifices to get the win amazing chess.👍
If I tried anything like what Duda did I'd just end up with all my pieces lost and no checkmate
How does Agadmator keep a straight face all the time...?! I lost it when Duda was awarded the most prestigious award available in the world.
After a tiring day, watching that 11 move combination 👌. Mind blown.
Can't believe I actually solved this pause the video moment. What a spectacular mating sequence! 😁
Janek koks

Being consistent really pays off and it’s shows right here with the last 6 moves.
The most prestigious award a player could receive. The most prestigious award that is available in the world.

Fantastic game, thank you for covering it.
Wow. Incredible move play.
The end whereby it could have turned into a fail, with just one move.
Brilliant game.
That rook to C7, solid.
There's something extra spicy about checkmates where you casually kill off all your pieces just to have the last stragglers finish the job off.
I figured out the queen sack. Wish I could find a move like that in one of my own games.
