Niles was truly an EVIL man in the most hilarious way possible.
I wouldn't say evil, but he did have a certain glee in taking CC down a peg or two.

Niles , Ms Babcock and their humour are the most wonderful happenings in these series. The chemistry between the couple, the interaction are top notch and apart from genius script, the actors actually made those scenes really shine like a diamond💎. A big bow from me to Daniel Davis (Niles) and Lauren Lane ( CC Babcock)
I always wonder just how much was written in the scripts and what was ad lib as you know that there had to be some improv from these 2 the most and just what was improv with the other actors when Niles was around

And Maxwell had taken a cold remedy that knocked him out. He never heard Fran come in, and neither of them remembered if they had done anything more than sleep. At the very end of the episode we're left with doubts of their denials.
@Mybpeterson It's been a while, but IIRC, they both had "telltale" signs they did it! That's what was so hilarious!
@@Sparky0627 Yup, both of them knew the telltale signs. Fran was itching her ears, and Maxwell was singing "Georgie Girl". They both turned a corner and saw each other, shock and realization on their faces. It was a riot.

The way Niles sang HB to CC, while she’s in a stupor then both leaving … I almost literally died laughing.
Daniel Davis is great in anything he does. from Niles to Moriarity on Star Trek: TNG. Brilliant.
I first fell for him when he was on a daytime soap. It was called "Texas". It a spin off of Another World and was sort of a knock off of Dallas.
He's great in everything does.
