Sally's dress turned out so cute! It's one of the best renditions of her dress I've ever seen. You got the colors and the patterns spot on. Same with Freddy's sweater - perfect colors, and they look really nice as just a casual fall sweater.

Love the Sally dress…your creations are amazing…love the swirly section… surface crochet would work for the marker portions…you did a fantastic job…love the blanket…that’s the only drawback to doing a granny in the round…it takes forever doing the larger rows…you kept going and got it done. Just a little tip for next time you use fabric markers on yarn, Dab it! It’ll be a lot of work but the outcome is amazing! Absolutely love your videos as well!

hi! i tend to get my yarn from a website called Lovecrafts and in store (mainly michaels). i tend to get lucky a lot because whenever i go in stores, they’re having a sale on yarn like buy 1 get 1 free or half off! i also check online for coupons if they have any when i go to michaels. on lovecrafts they’re always having sales on yarn which makes it cheaper too! :)
yarn is INCREDIBLY expensive so a lot of the times when i can’t afford it, i’ll have to just go with acrylic even though i’d rather work with natural fibers,
Just finished the Stranger Things blanket! As an aficionado of the show and a beginner crocheter (September 2023), I thought it would be apropos for me to make this as it is just a giant and glorified granny square. However, I think I might have used the wrong yarn (#4 Worsted Acrylic), hook (6.5 mm), gauge (22 sts in 4 inches), or a combination of all three as the size of the blanket is 55 inches squared, which is significantly smaller than yours (unless you're smaller than 4' 5" 🤣). Not sure if I would want to leave it as is or frog the last three black rounds and repeat the pattern again... decision, decisions... 🤔

For the sweater in the video I used 2 skeins of each color (each skein was 355 yards & is a weight 4 yarn) :)

I would have just increased the 10sts where you were. It would not have made a huge difference on your hips as you are small.
