Lyrics in these High On Fire songs always easily stand up to scrutiny. Angry, majestic, epic. Boy if anybody ever deserved a Grammy it's these guys. These guys improved the gravitas of Grammys.

@@shanedude91 yes, i directed the character animation, boarded most of the second half and animated a fair amount of it (some shots in the beginning and most everything from about 3:33 to 4:20). It was directed by Hey Beautiful Jerk and Skinner and it's intended to look like one of his paintings. There's a lot of inspiration from old saturday morning cartoons, heavy metal comics, conan and all that good pulp fiction shit we grew up on. Not sure what to call the style, but I wish there was more of it. You can see more of my work on insta (@simonampel) and there's a few in process things from this up on my site (simonampel.com) Hey Beautiful Jerk and Skinner also have instas which are worth checking out. In fact, the whole crew was pretty badass and I recommend looking them up. The credits are below the vid.

I never thought of it before but HIgh On FIre is the perfect music for horror comics like Heavy Metal, Eerie, and Creepy Comics.
I saw this band in summer 2015 at the FEQ, they played the second entry (I don't remember the first metal band before) Megadeth but High on Fire was so good I never heard of that band before that.
The Black Pot is the first song I've heard of HOF because they started the show with that song!
