Hey! Use code 20MICHELLE to save 20 EUR (or equiv) when signing up and claim up to 20 free private classes: try.lingoda.com/MuchellebLingoda - Psst. The next time you'll see me will be in October! I'm taking a month to work a little more on my business vs being in my business (a strategic choice, if you will!). I'll also be taking a few days off for my 30th!! Eee. Sending you lots of love 💛
I create “Happy To Do Lists” that remind me of all the little things I can do to boost my mood when I need to feel happier, calm down, relax, play. It started with my husband running down the list: sing, play guitar, write, go for a quick walk, collage etc. It helps. ❤
Thank you Michelle, the section about "thinking about yourself" helped me really come to terms with the thoughts going through my head while currently in a bad patch of chronic illness with pain and fatigue. Youve helped me reframe those thoughts as what they are which is rumination. I know intellectually that mindset is so powerful but sometimes its hard to remember when in the moment of pain/fatigue. Its my "Sick Girl" album thats playing and im just going to turn it off and let myself rest and heal 😊
The strategic choice section of this video was so valuable to me! Thank you Muchelle, I've thoroughly enjoyed your content throughout the years, your videos have felt so cozy and warm and inspiring 💕
I used to be a teacher for Lingoda and might start again in the future. Would have loved to have you in my class, but alas, I taught the wrong language haha
Thank you so much for shouting out giving up diet culture. When you started the sentence with “giving up…” and started showing weight lossy images I was so braced to be saddened by what you were going to say next and I’m really glad that instead you said something nuanced and thoughtful. It means a lot to hear straight-sized people speak up against diet culture as well.
Hi lately I have been struggling with obsessively thinking about productivity and feeling really bad if I don’t get everything done. I would love it if you could make a video on this topic. Your videos are so calming to me.
has anyone read the courage habit? i think she recommended it once. i'm reading it for a second time. it summarizes & extends upon the steps michelle outlines here. it's an excellent book!
Such great advice and thoughts, but I can't seem to really understand the emotional regulation section 😥 So we lable our thoughts, but not our feelings? How can you tell the difference? My thoughts, especially the 'bad' ones, are almost always connected to a feeling of discomfort, worry, or other negative feelings. Most feelings or thoughts are not felt in a specific part of me, it's just me ruminating or projecting and it just spirals.. If I'm feeling anxious because I feel like I talk to much (my biggest worry in life because of bullying in a young age), how do I lable the thought without lable the feeling? Or is this a technique that has some limitations? Could you maybe explain in more depth the concept, or maybe in a different way? 🥰
Thank you for the video! I have a question to the "ideal day" idea. Because i love that exercise and whenever I stick to that routine I have a really great time, make progress to my goals... So I do it sometimes. My problem is, my daily routine gets interrupted so often, mostly by the wonderful people in my life that I love. And it stresses me a little, because I want to see them but regularity is not a thing for them. I would love to have a more flexible approach. But I'm not there yet. Does anyone have any ideas on how to integrate family on a nonregular regular basis and make it a part of a maybe 70% ideal day/week...?
Making a manageable part that is a boundary for you is much easier to communicate than not being interrupted all the time. My experiment would be to try one time of your day to regularly have the you time, and let ppl know (or even better, design it around the times you're not interrupted the most)

I used to have an adventure list! Small things around town I could do for fun

I’ve been doing my best to live life more purposefully/with intention ❤

Ahhh! Que bueno que estés aprendiendo español 😊😊😊
Why can't I like this video twice
love it so much
Your videos keep getting better. Love this goal setting type information. I am on the Flylady tangent with the videos I am making at the moment.
Hi Michelle! This was a really good video, I took notes! 👏🙌
Great video, as always❤

A really helpful book on this type of thing is The Happiness Trap by Russ Harris 😊
she made a video on emotional regulation not too long ago...
so helpful!
Love it!😊

Step one is to have a smart and fun Australian life coach but most of us are not that lucky...
but we have muchelle! she's a great virtual coach!
I really wish you would have given the questions at least 5 seconds more screen time. Can’t get the whole thing up to screenshot them
