How this man can peel plastic without expressing any emotion deeply concerns me.....
I watch the content only for Leo.
Leo here: I'm just a heartless beast.
@@KitGuruTech I guess it just losses it's "a-peel" after a while...
@@andy816896 boy I'm glad you didint say "sex-appeal"😂
@@camotech1314 *sex a-peel
I absolutely love this guy, Leo is so no nonsense. Its either good or its bad, and he doesn't mess around when handling or building. Great vid.
love me a Leo case review / build. absolute staple of kit guru and is the reason I've stayed subbed for so long
removed the protective cover as first step. what an absolute madlad lol
This video is more useful then other ones with the deepcool macube 110.
I bought as500+ two days ago from amazon for 50£ - what a great cooler, highly recommended.
This build is super clean. Very nice!
Fitting the CPU cooler fans with a wave of your hand is quite an impressive skill! :D
That's how we roll at KitGuru.
That's my fav motherboard I have built 2 PC's recently with it
I really like the aesthetic of Deepcool products (except for the PSUs) and the price they come in, at least, here in the part of Asia where I live. They're a lot cheaper than most other mainstream options while easily looking professional/smart that it's often a no-brainer for the budget-conscious to go for Deepcool stuff.
I’m late to this reply but man I couldn’t agree more
And I’m in Canada it’s always a no brainer for me still🤷🏼♂️
Ah, a Leo build. Time to pay attention and enjoy.
Is it possible for you to do one further test? Can you please test the temperature and performance of a second NVME drive installed in the second (PCIe v3) NVME slot - the one covered by the GPU? I would like to know if a NVME drive there is adversely affected by heat from the GPU.
A Deeply Cool video!
Thank you for the video. Does the side glass panel close completely with this CPU cooler?
did he put the solid side onto the tempered glass side? Thats a bit triggering
For everyone who is interested in the AS500 (non plus). I installed it on a 5900x, tuf b550m plus wifi, 64gb ram system. At 100% load 3ds max and corona renderer or CB R23 @4.6ghz all core boost it keeps the cpu below 82-83 Celsius. CB R23 multicore res. about 23020 stable. Case is the deepcool matrexx 40 (great airflow) with 3 DC RF120 FS fans in the front as intake and 1 TF120s in the back as exhaust. I imagine the AS500 plus with 2 140mm fans would have been at least 5C cooler than my AS500 but there was non to be found in the country where I live.
Just dropping some information as I was pretty unsure about pairing the cooler with a 5900x before purchasing and actually testing it.
Masterful
The case has a built in GPU support "bracket" which you took off. Anyway, nice build and for 50 euros, this case is very good.
I'm probably gonna order one for my 2nd PC.
hi , do you know what the temp of the case is i heard it isn't good
Please tell me. Will a 4070 gamerock classic graphics card fit in this case?
Is it fair to use the original fan as a third one in front lower?
Thanks, Leo - another entertaining and informative video.
I really wanted, however, to see the ST500 light up. Could you have removed the twin slot thingies and taped it to the top for moar RGB? Or a least plugged it in for a demo?
No doubt we could but that might have led to RGB overload.
did you bench the system with the GPU holder in to see if it had a negative on the air flow? I always wondered which is worse a cooling droopy GPU or a Bracket holding one up , Although Have a water looped GPU. I don't thing miner sag on it matters to my big rig. Just would be interesting on my other builds where I miss with old GPU's some of which are like a old lady's boobs nearly touching on the floor of the case. I normally use tie wraps but consider buying one of those temp supports you can get. then I can pull out and change GPU's without having to be wasteful with the tie wraps.
If you watched the video religiously you will have seen the ST500 did not fit in the case
The case it self has a GPU support dont it ?
Fastest peel in the west
Hi, thanks your video for helping me a lot to finnish my first PC. But I have a Problem that my case (Deepcool 110) have a led next the power button usually blinking and make some small noise. I dont know what is that led for. Can you give me some advise? Thank you
Probably the hard drive activity button. But it shouldnt be beeping... :(
Would a RTX 3080 will fit in this case
Are the top fans intake or exhaust?
Its exhaust in any case.
thermals result?
I have this case but seriously my gpu cant breathe on this and cpu thermals are way over 80c
Macube 110 or matrexx 40 fs3 ? which one is better deal in your opinion?
Mattrexx 40 better airflow
Macube better look
"The Muhcoob"
U forgot to take off the SSD heat sink plastic
Would have bought it if it had better airflow at the front.
Definitely would have put the RGB fans in the roof and the old case fan in the front. Gotta C the RGB.
what kind of motherboard it support?
It's a b560 mbd, supporting 10 and 11th Gen Intel cpu, I would prefer u buy the bazooka.
oh dang i got mine here the ”Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming II with DDR4 4400 MHz support ATX Gaming Motherboard” is this okay? or nahh?
oh, i think you misunderstood me i was asking if what kind of motherboard does the pc case support does it support that kind of motherboard? :) The ”Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming II with DDR4 4400 MHz support ATX Gaming Motherboard”.
"This looks like a small ATX case"
Whaaaaaat? Show me a case of this size (not boxy) that can take an ATX mobo... :P
I wish drive caddies were optional. I'm tired of ripping them out and tossing them in the trash.
When companies sell drive cages/caddies as retail accessories they often sell for £5. The part probably costs the company 50 cents, tops, so it is cheaper to include it than to offer two SKUs. Or put it another way, the caddy-less SKU would only save you pennies.
@@KitGuruTech True. However, I still tire of having to taking them out and throwing them away. Seems a waste.
@@OlettaLiano It would be a much more expensive thing to do in Deepcool's end having to produce 2 versions of the same product. Especially since this is a budget case which is catered to the lower end of the market, it only makes sense to include the drive cage because the lower end of the market hasn't fully switched to solid state drives because they are still too expensive specifically on third world countries.
8:40 - A bracket to hold up the bracket? Wow, how dumb are the engineers?
Solid front panel = hard pass for me.
You could leave the front off, and if concerned about dust you can get some suitable gauze and if you want sticky magnets. And that would be more airflow than any front panel.
And it wasn't a totally solid panel, there is venting at the sides, potentially drawing in a good amount of air due to the displacement of air from the fans.
Leo here: I understand your view and wondered about that myself. Check out the temperatures at the end of the video. Both the Core i5 and RTX 2080 Super were running very comfortably.
@@KitGuruTech Thank you for your answer mr. Leo, i saw that, would be interesting to see front panel off vs on, i think temps would be better by a nice margin, still temps are fine, this is absolutely true.
Fortunately, they have an option for that. They have model called the Matrexx 40 which is the exact same case as this one but comes with a vented front panel.
@@BenyaminLorit Interesting, i'm for much bigger cases, but that case looked nice and the front panel was bugging me.
bring Rosie back i say............
Second lol
