It's more Cut and Dry, the time war started Somewhere after Remembrance of the Daleks. While Yes we can't tell what's really happening with the Daleks and the Timelords though out what we see in the TV Show, But That's where BIG FINNISH comes in. They cleared up alot of the gaps in our knowledge even going so fare as to clear up where Mell came from and how Mell and the Doctor met.
First of all, the fact that there are spidr(s) literally, says a LOT about what is going on second, time war began in 1996, concluded somewhere in 2010 with that sonic guy doing that physics stuff with the entire homeworld. The octopus people are like, the song "ends" but story, never ends.
Thank You for the smile you have given me. Also ThankYou foe watching & commenting Terry @ Tardis Spider P.S. There is a TARDIS on the underbelly of spider in opening
I think that the 60s era Daleks are fundamentally different in terms of timeline, They were Dals rather then Kaleds, and in my opinion did not yet have Darvos as part of there timeline, and the later history was implanted for some reason or another. There is also the question of the relationship between the Time War and the War in Heaven
Genesis of The Daleks was the Trigger that set the flames of war! While Destiny and Resurrection were the start of The Dalek civil War! Timelords are to blame of course they made things a lot worse.
I prefered the way they set it up in the BBC Novels with the 8th doctor before the Mod series started. The TIME WAR was a Civil War between different Time Lord Factions. Those that wanted to Acend to become Temopral Energy Beings (or Time Gods) and those that wanted to stay the same. Old vs New. Will Openly Admit I am Not a Fan of Mod Who's take on it. That and making it Time Lords vs Daleks was just too predictable.
Hello TardisMan, Thank You watching & commenting, hope you enjoy moe videos. working on a look at the Underwater menace right now.. Terry @ Tardis Spider
Yes something is lost when stories are animated. Troughton especially as mannerisms and factual expression are a major part of the portrayal. Yet the animations are gift not to be overlooked and enjoyed @@TheTaridsMan

The Time War started some time after the events of the 1996 movie and ended before The Doctor meets Rose.
You may be very right, yet time travel can muddle a timeline. Thank You for watching & commenting
