I remember seeing the original story and thinking that this is the way people should be. This is how businesses should run. I thought it was amazing then. I am blown away but at the same time not surprised that his employees did this. The company and the people as a whole are a shining example of what good can happen when you give. You should give freely. However, the more positivity you spread, the more you are surrounded by it. Thanks for sharing these stories. I usually need to wipe my tears after most of these segments.
I worked for a fortune 100. I was told I could only give my employees a 1% raise…we didn’t have any money. 3 months later the CEO took a $30,000,000.00 bonus. I quit a week later and became a consultant! I love this CEO!
When you genuinely care for people, they'll go the extra mile to help you when you need help the most. What a beautiful story of kindness and generosity reciprocation!
These employees got good pay and can save some money to help the company when needs. On the other hand, most of the Amazon employees need 2nd job just for living.
This CEO invested in his employees so then they cared about the company. They invested back into the company. Treat people good and they'll return that favor. Business isn't just about the numbers... it's about the people.
Attention Leaders: When you treat your employees well AND model the behavior you want them to aspire to, AND you create an environment where the voices matter, they will go to bat for you when the going gets tough. This guy is a great leader. CEOs you can take a lesson from Mr. Price's playbook.
This guy is putting all these corporations to shame. This county is built on people who call themselves Christians, but when push comes to shove they really are only about themselves. This man is teaching people how things are suppose to be. Thank you for continuing to share this story. All the business analysts in colleges need to keep track of the progress of this company. I can see them growing even bigger because more small businesses will hear these stories and want to be a part of what they are doing. Could you imagine what the world would look like if every company was doing this?
This is how businesses meant to help in societies, not to make 1% of the population filthy rich while the 99% barely making ends meet.. Thank you Dan and thank you to your great employees..
RIGHT?! I often find conservatives talking about ‘trickle down economics’. THIS IS WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE. THIS is trickle down economics! When you pay your employees well, they can then recirculate that money back into the economy by supporting other businesses, buying homes, and moving society forward by starting families. Not fucking Wall Street, insider trading, and making profit by cheating out as much as possible.
This is the type of amazing ingenuity and ‘can do’ that I love. Really impressed by Gravity. I really hope they can continue to help small businesses adapt, recover, and succeed. Keep bringing folks like this on your show!!
@@bobbys2643 Its also important to understand that if one can do it it means that the potential exist and we should put our expectations on a higher level and not excuse greed and bad management with things like poor-blaming
This is company loyalty and the man earned it by showing his people that they are family, most companies just say it and treat you as a cog in the machinery, dont need your particular "cog type" well you are treated as garbage, not many people would volunteer a pay cut for the company.
I kept rewatching this clip. Literally everything all these good people are doing is really keeping me positive with my own small business which is also in Seattle. Work from home as a freelancer and own a brand called JDoarts & Illustrations where we make merch featuring my own characters. I can't express how difficult it's been this year and seeing good people just offering their time and attention to help others out brings happy tears to my eyes. Please everyone in this clip and everyone reading this, please keep it up because we need more hope in this world!
WOW...this video should get a BILLION VIEWS!! And this guy should hopefully teach something to the greedy ceos out there who could and should be doing so much better. MORE DANS!!
What an amazing man. Not just a nice guy, he is a visionary leader and courageous for taking on something so risky. I'm glad it's paying off for him, he deserves every bit of respect that I have. What a good guy.
Oh my god this is really, really, really, super duper amazing y'all. It's like what you get when you combine kindness, fairness, honesty, creativity, passion, talent, every single positive word to your life. It's going everywhere and effect everyone.
The best company I worked for was a family owned pharmaceutical wholesaler. The CEO actually cared about its workers and made sure to be involved in their daily lives. When there were challenges, workers stepped up to help. After the company got bought out by a major company, all that loyalty vanished. Employees quickly learned they were just a number.
Fantastic idea 😁 Can you imagine working for such Awesome Company, Teamwork, positive environment and having co workers that actually care about each other, there is no fakeness. 8:22 oh and I love those dressers in the background 💕 Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
when a leader shows they're willing to invest in their ppl, the ppl will want to invest in that leader this man's a legend, and i'm so happy that the pandemic proved his investment into his employees was the best business choice he could have ever made

This is going to change everything!!! More importantly, it takes away every excuse these greedy millionaire/billionaire business owners have to work their employees into the ground and then thank them for paying for their flight to space.
@@kylaarmstrong-benjamin8066 Sadly you are correct. You would have to change the human heart and specifically the heart of the uber rich. Not going to happen on this current earth. But that said I LOVE how this excellent company flies in the face of what I call the Wild Hog world view that big CEO types have. Which is this. Dominate, snort your dominance and eat everything in sight including any living thing that is stupid enough to get in your way and then defecate. Rinse repeat.

Small businesses provide 70% of the new jobs every year. Government and big business provide the rest. So based on that simple fact, why is the Government not offering tax incentives and better legislation to make small businesses prolific. It's pretty simple. Follow the money. Kelly, I know this is a year ago…but if you could ‘check-out’/research DR. Dr. Bronner’s sons have continued the model and have grown the company. Whadda ya’ Think.!⁉️ 🌅MuchAloha🌴from the islands🥥WiL🌞
Apple, this company was facing going out of business so their employees gave up positive paycheck. Meet Orange, Kelly Clarkson's business was doing just fine so there was no need for employees to give up money. If this guy can do it...then why can't other multi-million dollar companies do this? Love this story.
Probably rhetorical but the answer is blind uncontrolled greed
I am sure Gravity is not trading in Wall Street. Do you see what I mean?

Well, it's important to understand he's the exception, not the rule. The average ceo makes 350x than the companies lowest paid employee.

Every company who can afford it and doesn't do it should be ashamed. It is called greed
Remember the original story....key is togetherness...no one played the greedy card.....the call business is the key.

Wow, wow, wow...
So it does only take one person to make a change.
Amazing story. Wow
His business analogy will really work, if your employee loves and loyal working with you.
The four people who disliked this sucks....just go away instead of bringing in your negativity....smh
How very American..giving up a paycheck is "the Ultimate Sacrifice". In other parts of the world that would refer to one's life.
Companies won’t understand this until you hit them where it hurts- their pockets!

When did Kelly transition into a pirate.
I thought he was the gay guy that cuts hair I forgot his name haha
Because they are greedy
Why the one eye? So that's illuminati?
Remember to vote for progressives, GOP only need the poor to remain poor for starvation wages, while making huge profits
That is socialism, and it's not bad...
It would be socialism if the employees owned the company.
Socialism is when the workers own the means of production.
The sturdy transmission incidentally disagree because botany invariably pop on a steadfast graphic. wacky, perfect custard
This is great. But he seems to be reading a script everytime he talks. Its weird.
why is a pirate on my daily feed?
