- Today I will do a test ride with new tires on my Royal Enfield Classic 350. What is the difference between the Bridgestone BT 46 and the Heidenau K 60?
Which one is better for touring?

BT 46 are very good road tires 👍
I had them mounted last Friday on my 1991 Suzuki GSX 600F. Rode about 150 km in two days and they are brilliant! My bike never felt so stable and cornering is so easy.
I had a 1990 , one of the best motorcycles ever! 👍
@@juliancain6128 Indestructable 👍🏻
Great tyre choice Marc, I have those on my 2010 bullet 500. I’m still going with the Heidenau K60 scouts on my 2022 Chrome bronze 350, stock spoked wheels with tubes in.👍👍
I have the same in reserve stock rims and Heidenau K60 :-)
I just ordered a pair of BT46 for my Chrome Red Classic 350, tubes going in them. What a pain it is to find tires for this especially in the USA. The only tires that I could find in original size and tube type (both front and back) were Metzeler Tourance. Italian vendor said they could not ship them to USA, unsure why. Metzeler dealers in USA say one of the tire sizes doesn't exist, rear I think. Love the RE Classic but it's like Royal Enfield never imported it to the USA. OEM CEAT aren't that great but can't get in USA anyway, maybe Ebay. Glad someone put BT46 on the bike before I do. Thanks.
I can feel they are good tires
Very informative video! Thankyou!
Humm, looks great grip tyre
Hello Marc, I will check out if these tires exist with tubes (?) As I want to keep my spoke wheels on the classic. Thanks a lot for Your postings, ride safe.
Thanks, ride safe.
Proper patch for tubeless requires removing the tire so no real benefit. Tire foam will inflate a leaky tube without covering the entire rim like in a tubeless setup. That is even easier than doing a plug and inflate. Those tires look very good. Probably better than the stock rubber.
You can repair a tubeless tire on the road easy with a tire repair kit to get to the next workshop. Most of the time you have to take of the tire to repair a tubed tire and change the damaged tube.
@@curtis164 No need to do any of that. And tubes can be patched for pennies relatively speaking. You need to get a bike and try it for yourself.
Sounds like an excellent touring combo.. soft tire and alloy wheels. Is there a specific repair kit you use with the tubeless tire?
I use this one: amzn.to/44qUZ9F
