Command General; we have one more mission for you. You need to element the greedy capitalist cooperation know as EA. Once that is done; we need you to build a Westwood studio building in its place.
Yes, Soviet ending is SO MUCH BETTER! The stock market is closed forever, all banksters ousted and their assets expropriated. That means no more greed = no more wars and humanity can finally advance further in space-exploration!
The endings for both sides can be summed up this way: Soviets: You change the world for the better for everyone by both defeating Yuri and smashing capitalism. The stock market is closed and with the removal of the profit motive a new golden age of space exploration and scientific progress begins. The people are grateful to you. Allies: The world is still the under the boot heel of capitalism just like it was when you started, you didn't really change anything beyond defeating Yuri. But hey… at least you got laid right?
+Santa Marx from Finland Actually, it's implied you get laid in the Soviet ending as well, earlier your soviet adviser will not-so-subtly imply what's waiting for you once you are successful in defeated Yuri. "Russian winters can get very cold... Perhaps this winter will be different?"

Interesting thought, 14 years later, who would be interested to see this guys square off? No psychic mind control No Nod troops Just a battle of wits together.
Most Westwood employees quit shortly after Generals was done and went to form Ptetroglyph studios. They made Grey Goo. Pretty good RTS game, though personally not up to what I was hoping for though. I wish they would go for a Yooka Laylee or Bloodstained approach
I sent Siege Choppers to destroy the Soviet Psychic Beacon - you can get them through to the back of the base without being engaged by Flak Cannons if you are careful. Following that, I built Kirov Airships at the captured Soviet base to deal with Yuri's castle. I have to play the mission again to be sure, but I believe I built a Nuclear Silo but destroyed Yuri's castle before I had the opportunity to launch it at the Allied Psychic Beacon.
there is a mod called Mental Omega. The story follows the Soviet victory over Yuri and the Allies. However Yuri is brought back from the past by loyal followers. Then he creates the Epsilon Empire.
she looks pretty happy considering she just made it impossible to retrieve this one of a kind device that would have made the Soviets completely unbeatable had they been able to keep it.
@@sweetcandysugaarmy8480 Honestly, I've always thought that RA 3 makes SO MUCH MORE SENSE if we assume that it picks up from the Soviet Campaign of RA2:YR, as a sort of Temporal Paradox. They send Einstein's time machine back in time, deplete the reserves, and it gets damaged. Somehow ends up buried, encased in stone, and is mostly preserved... Then millions of years later, the Soviets dig it up between RA1 and RA2, and the Soviet Scientists that were responsible for "their" time machine did what the Soviets did IRL with a lot of stuff: reverse engineer it. Also explains why there's such a massive paradox problem in the RA3 expansion, because the timeline has been twisted around a LOT more than just the two times, and has multiple paradoxes that can't quite be solved.
People say the Soviets are the villain of the Red Alert series. But I argue they suit the role for an Anti-Villain as they have a goal that is good and moral, but they try to establish it in a way that is immoral, like Kane's "Peace through power" using violence and immoral acts to be able to establish a goal that is beneficial to everyone. At the end of the day the Soviets want the same things the Allies want. A world of peace, and everyone being happy. The only difference between them is what part of the political compass the lie in.
> a world of peace, and everyone being happy This is definitely NOT what Allies want, Allies is just a union of random countries, that will continue to shit about each other and make wars after defeating Soviets. Yuri is Dead by T-Rex
My sentiments precisely.
Closing Wallstreet? Golden age of space exploration? This is the best ending in my opinion.
truer words were never spoken
Best ending actually
I love how Yuri's storyline is so serious and yet every single one of the ways he loses is hilarious.
