- Terraria Skyblock, now with shimmer. This allows for a lot more creativity in how you approach this challenge, such as fishing up dangersense potions and uncrafting them into cobwebs to make beds. This is the second episode. It was streamed live, the full streams are on the playlist below:

getting 3 blood moons in a row is almost twice as rare as getting a rod of discord from any random chaos elemental in expert

When you want to farm any enemy from a certain area you can use shimmer to transform a non enemy spawning wall to its enemy spawning counterpart
Shooting stuff offscreen is way easier if you use the full-screen minimap, zoom it out a bit from 1:1 scale, and make it translucent. It shows you the boss location as an overlay.

What's surprising to me about the stupid platform auto placing is that this problem just doesn't exist for minecart tracks. To place them at angle, you have to move your mouse around a 45° angle, not one pixel off an exactly straight line like with the platforms. So they knew the better way, they implemented it for the tracks, but not for platforms? Even in the update after everyone was complaining about them and using planter boxes? Why?
The worst part with platforms is when you do mess up (which is very often) you *have* to stop and tear down the mistake and resume from there, because continuing would cause your character to move down or up with the platforms, which would only mess more things up. With other things, like planter boxes, you can simply ignore it and get rid of the excess materials later, because they don’t connect. Although to be fair this isn’t really something they can ‘fix’ because in doing so it would remove the ability to place platform stairs, but it wouldn’t be a problem if they made it so the cursor angle needs to be ≈45° off like you said.

I think in retrospect doing some sky fishing for sky crates would have been good for the horseshoe and a quad barrel shotgun too in a graveyard biome. Amazing series though I hope this continues!

I've actually been wondering why he always uses planter boxes as platforms for ages, really nice to finally get an explanation but the answer just raises even more questions. Like why does he have such a frequent issue of accidentally creating stairs while placing a flat line of platforms that he had to switch to a different item entirely?
It's not just that, they also are just way easier to get in bulk, don't burn in lava, and look nicer.

I don't know if you're gonna read this but , I have a new challenge idea I call it , "focused death spin" , that challenge will start once if you have 5 or 6 items that deal damage, and after doing that the challenge begins , the rules are is that you put every item or weapon in a spinning wheel and must roll it every death , now after the wheel has pick the item you must only focus on that said item , like the only time you get to mine is when you die and must spin to get a pickaxe, this would be fun and chaotic to watch.

fun fact about the boomstick missing often: every single projectile weapon in the game that makes a shotgun spread, like the vampire knives or poison staff, always have one projectile go directly towards the cursor
