@Anne M Are you aware that vitamin K is integral to coagulation? Newborn children have literally died from normally very insignificant internal or external injuries because their blood hasn't clotted properly due to the lack of vitamin K which is needed to produce some integral factors for the coagulation process. Perhaps dead babies are the will of god, I cannot tell but every doctor is required to defy that will.
@Anne M Look i'm not about to get into a debate over the existence of god. What a will say though is we know for a fact that infant mortality has decreased drastically over the last few hundred years in developed countries. And you can also compare infant mortality in developed countries now which have these medicines, to less developed countries which don't. So clearly there are ways in which medicine and science can improve our lives.
@Anne M You link literally provides no information on infant mortality. This is a link containing a graph to infant mortality in the US between 1960 and 2010 time.com/5090112/infant-mortality-rate-usa/ Whilst the US may have a higher infant mortality rate than the OECD countries (who also have a vaccine programme btw it's not just the US). It's undeniable that infant mortality in the US has steadily decreased during the previous century! You claimed that infant mortality in the US had gone up over the last 30 years. Well as the graph quite clearly shows, infant mortality in the US has decreased from around 4.5% in 1990 to below 3% in 2010. And that's just the last few decades. 100's of years ago, before modern medicine, infant mortality was reported to be around 50%. And are you seriously going to try and tell me it's higher than that now?
Such a beautiful baby!! She was so good until she got that painful shot! You could just see how intense the pain was when her little mouth started to draw up and quiver. Congratulations to the very lucky parents!
It's not that painful and does not last; but to a sensitive Newborn who does not even know what Pain is, it's a little traumatizing. The 1st of many of life's traumas.
I love how she stopped crying when the nurse caressed her with both the hands and started crying when she removed it and again stopped crying when she wrapped the cloth and again caressed her. She handled the baby with so much care and love.

So clearly there are ways in which medicine and science can improve our lives.
@Anne M You link literally provides no information on infant mortality.
This is a link containing a graph to infant mortality in the US between 1960 and 2010
time.com/5090112/infant-mortality-rate-usa/
Whilst the US may have a higher infant mortality rate than the OECD countries (who also have a vaccine programme btw it's not just the US).
Don't imagine the pain the baby being aborted feels- it's too much! How people can do that I'll never know.
Its actually not that painful just a tiny pinch or sting.
@@amethystrose3593 To you, but not to a baby who was just born.
@@patriciagraham2287 man i wish i was aborted
I love how she stopped crying when the nurse caressed her with both the hands and started crying when she removed it and again stopped crying when she wrapped the cloth and again caressed her.
She also said sorry to Ivy for the injection.
And called her a beautiful baby.
Of course Ivy is so beautiful but the nurse is also beautiful. A beautiful person. She handled the baby with so much care and love.
I am not even a relationship. I am a single adult of age 24 and I can say that I cried after watching this video and felt that warmth and happinesses of having a baby.. Your own baby after so much pain and hurdles. Parents are the best blessing anyone can have.
As a nurse who worked with newborns, I hated giving those shots, but it was “the rules” . Poor little thing! But she is a cutie.
Hello Kathie, can you explain to me, what is that shot good for? I am from Slovakia and here babies get their first shot when they´re 10 weeks old, never earlier, thank you
Who's rules? Many nurses are quitting because they know the dangers of vaccines.
@@susangreene3071 Yeah but "sometimes that's is good!." 🤔😑.
It's a crime against humanity.
@Kathie Condon, then why work in a department that required you to something as part of your job that you hated?
My heart broke when Ivy cried….bless her tiny heart. Congratulations Mommy & Daddy!
Thanks so much for sharing. I am 38 weeks pregnant and must have watched this about 100 times. Such a peaceful beautiful little spirit.
I saved this video while waiting for my LO to be born. This video is so beautiful. My LO is now 10.5 months old, and this still made me cry when your Ivy got her shot! Poor baby! Such an angel.
I just loved the way that nurse was so loving and gentle and compassionate to that newborn, especially after given the shot. I give her 100percent plus some. A. Good nurse!.
The calm before the storm but the Nurse did assist with comforting the sweet little Ivy. Shes soooo beautiful I just want to hold her. Welcome to the world Ivy. 🧚♂️🧚♀️

God bless you with all love dear.
Wow. That cry from a shot was true suffering... First truly painful experience. First collision with the world. There is something tragic about it.
Y T your comment made me sad. you are so right. she was so peaceful until that moment
If I knew better I would have not let my babies go through that suffering.
That vaccine was given to her for her own good.
Better that moment of pain than suffering from a preventable disease.
A beautiful, healthy newborn is tragic? It’s a celebration!
I'm 50! and I cried when I saw this little angel is crying! hense, 10 years 've passed))) God bless you sweet heart!
3:11 the way the nurse put her healing touch. That was remarkable.
Mihaela Hatch yes strange that shes got her rings on. Normally that isnt allowed for hygiene
@@w.sommen5209 right and no gloves !!!!! Terrible .. wtf
Healing touch!!!!! 😞
@@shelleylindquist9452 me too as a nursing student myself I cringed when she administered the shot without gloves, that's the nursing equivalent of slipping it in raw

She's so cute. I know the shot was necessary, but seeing her like that was painful. Makes me remember how life comes with a lot of suffering 😞
Mostly! Poor girl. She IS beautiful; hopefully this will help and not hurt her journey!

Use a smaller needle. Ouch.
3:22. *The blanket* serves as a previous location of life which was the womb that squeezes and protects the body like a hug for nine months then released into the hands of the earth to cherish....You notice as the nurse provides a sustenance of warmth and electrical pulse to the child letting it know the mother is near and the child trusts once again and calmness and tranquility is resumed in the order of light to love and be loved.

I like how there are these summary-esque comments scattered in these kinds of videos
Who else cried when she got her shot? I felt that!
I did......what a sweet little thing......
Heather Dickey Be happy for the baby. It’s life saving. There used to be many babies who died from childhood diseases.
Go to mommy.
You must be an empathetic person! Ivy's older sister also cried while watching this clip.

What a precious baby girl. How could anybody stick her? I could cry for her. I hope that she grows up to be a healthy child. God bless it.
Who on earth dislikes a perfectly awesome upload? Makes absolutely no sense to me. Her little sneeze and yawn brought me back to 25 years ago with my son. Now, he's making me a grandma this coming December! Time goes so very fast.
baby vs elderly
similarities =
both are helpless
one at the beginning of life
The other towards the end of life
both
*are toothless
*have wrinkled skin
*Need tender loving care
*weak immunity and prone to infections
*having innocence
*tantrums
*wear diapers
baby grows up and strong
elderly grows old and frail
grace sue This is very true and beautiful.

Babies oftentimes look like mini old people. Reincarnation?
Mazot Hortlak ....she wasn’t meaning it in a bad way at all. Just sayin how were born this way and when were old we go back to the same way

It'll make me crazy to see babies crying.
I am 38+ weeks pregnant and her crying broke my heart and made me cry. Didn't know I'll be emotional for a baby 🥺
OMG that's painful for her
Beautiful little baby. Reminds me of the excitement I had when seeing my eldest daughter a few hours after she was born 25 years ago. I was so elated I thought I was going to die happily.
My last baby was 26 years ago born in 1996!!! 😄💕💕💕
Yes a lovely nurse very gentle. She could teach other nurses and helpers how to do it properly. Thankyou
I never saw the beautiful baby like her so so pretty
Most beautiful new born baby I've ever seen, and so good, till that jab. Why can't they find a less painful way of administering whatever that was?
She's truly gorgeous baby... yes i had tears in my eyes when she got the shot. Hoping to have a girl soon
She is 10 minutes old and still more beautiful than I'll ever be
I love to look at this beautiful graceful baby girl she is so beautiful and calm before the nurse gave her the shot. She was contented, and looking at her Mother all the time.
Little lady is just laying there chilling and looking around!!!
Such a cute little mite . I love her facial expressions .
The baby is just amazing.. God bless her.. she's coming into the world for the first time and is still so calm.. until of course she was pricked !! Oh Lord ! What an Angel.. Love you my child
That needle...bless her precious heart!❤️❤️❤️
Aww cutie patootie❣ Such a lil doll. Congrats! She is beyond adorable.
How do these nurses ever get anything done? I can’t get over the innnoncence and cuteness. Her cries after the shot just broke my heart 😢
She is so cute I can't. I felt really bad when she was crying. 👶🥺
It never fails to amaze me that there was actually a time when i was that tiny
How much service does a doctor do, my heart salutes to such a doctor who survives
What an awesome compassionate nurse! That baby is beautiful!!!
I know this is six years ago but I felt so bad for her when she got that needle. I know the nurse felt bad too but I don’t know how they can do that. Poor little baby only 10 minutes old and has to experience pain so soon. I hope she is a thriving beautiful 6 year old girl. God Bless her.
A baby boy is only 1 day old when they circumsize them ( probably spelled it wrong)
What a beautiful little baby! Can’t believe this tiny girl is 14 now! 🥺

I do not know how to put this words that do not offend anybody, but why was this precious angel not placed on mommy’s chest, skin to skin, hearing each other’s heartbeat? Iam so sorry for your loss!
Omg my heart ❤️ is melting with her . She is She is so beautiful. Many blessings 🙏🙏🥰🤗
She's a patient little darling. Happy Birthday Ivy and congrats to your Family.
Que poca ternura hacia un ser tan indefenso. Pobrecita. Y que poca habilidad. Y como le retuerce la piernecita para plasmar la huella del pie. Que gesto de dolor hace la criatura. Indignante.
This made me cry too, she was so sweet and the nurse was so kind and loving and comforting to this tiny newborn. I wish all nurses and Dr.s were this compassionate. ❤❤
