There actually isn't much we don't know about the baby's "transition" from womb to world. I don't know why so many ignorant people worry about babies crying and question the profession of nurses. For doctors, nurses and parents, a baby who does not cry loudly after birth can signal a serious condition in which the baby may be unconscious or unable to breathe on his own, which could lead to death by suffocation after birth. All babies need to cry loudly and move their limbs after birth. To drain fluid from the lungs and send oxygen-carrying blood to the extremities. And it needs to be cleaned carefully to prevent blood and amniotic fluid from causing infection to the baby.
Poor infant. Scared, the noises around him and the overly bright lights for his eyes, the cool air on his skin , all frightening I think. He should be in his parent’s warm arms, not ignored all this time.

He was over the whole thing as soon as he got here🤣. Love how gentle physical touch had him calming down and trying to figure if he was in the tummy or some other strange and new place. Too nunus!
Some of the reasons for handling, is not hurting baby Its all about the baby being awake and responding. The crying is good . As for cold in hospitals is to not allow viruses. Some people thinks its cruel, but its really not.
Aww, he is trying to understand what's happening. He tried to open his eyes, so cute! He must be cold. Gentle on his skin, please! He is so terrified, poor baby. Not used to all the actions going on. Beautiful baby!

I agree this baby is treated too rough. This is a brand new life. Its precous. The baby does not understand this rough treatment. Thats why they cry so hard after being treated rough.
It's so precious how the baby calms down when his dad comforts him and holds his hand!! The little one even opens his eyes to look at his dad, it's so adorable. He also likes it when the nurses touches his eyes, and whenever he's being touched, he calms down. I was born via C section and it's traumatic in every which way, for both mom and baby, no way around it.
Melinda Nance • 8 hours ago From a NICU RN: Newborns need to roughed up a bit immediately after birth so they scream and expel all the blood, amniotic fluid and mucus from their lungs. If they don't get the fluid out, it will cause a serious pneumonia that could potentially end the child's life. Believe me - it's not nearly as bad as it looks.
He’s sooo breathtakingly beautiful!!! I just saw the info the mother posted and she can ASSURE all of you who watched the video the baby was well taken care of and experienced nurses were tending to him.❤️. Let mom celebrate the joy!!🥰❤️❤️
So sweet!! Ever wonder why newborns cry first instead of doing something else?? I know they are scared and cold, but why do they cry, or how do they know how to cry immediately?? Precious baby!! 😘♥️
Their lungs and new system kick in immediately they need to breath because for 9 months the infants lungs are inactive in the womb of the mother, a crying newborn is a sign of a healthy baby, a newborn that does not cry is a sign that something is wrong and will require immediate care...I'm not a doctor just passing info I've seen before
I don't see any brutality, the nurse gotta do what he/she supposed to do. New born babies cry for 100 different reasons if Nurse had to console the baby every 5 secs then the baby will end up staying at Recovery for 5 hrs instead of being transferred to maternal/baby ward.

So different in the UK... Baby is wiped over quickly and then immediately (unless medical complications prohibit) put on mum for skin to skin, comfort and warmth. This just seems a little cruel to me. I love the first moments with my baby, so grateful I get that time!

I agree Maya. They cry that's what they do. They are in a strange place now. Daddy is trying to comfort him. He's going to be just fine! God bless!
I agree, they have to physically stimulate his body and clear his lungs.... as his daddy said... he turned out just fine.... don't think they had a problem with it.....
He was over the whole thing as soon as he got here🤣. Love how gentle physical touch had him calming down and trying to figure if he was in the tummy or some other strange and new place. Too nunus!
The lights are too damn bright for a baby who has lived in darkness for nine months! That's the main reason he's bawling the way he is.
Truth
The eyes have never seen light - protect them !!!!!!!
From a warm, safe womb to loud noises, bright lights, beeps...put me baaaacckkkk!!!!
Hii
💯 💯 💯
How beautiful!!! I hope he grows up happy and healthy and prospers! (Brazil)
The video is 9 year old and UA-cam is giving me notification now.,😂😂😂
And the boy would be 9 year old now. 😂😂
Lol Same! 😂😂🤣
He would be a 9 year old by now with a bad first impression of the world.
Some of the reasons for handling, is not hurting baby
Its all about the baby being awake and responding.
The crying is good .
As for cold in hospitals is to not allow viruses.
Some people thinks its cruel, but its really not.
None of these explain her cruelty. You don't behave like this to demonstrate professionality. It is needless, cruel, abusive, damaging.
Give that baby to his mommy
Aww, he is trying to understand what's happening. He tried to open his eyes, so cute! He must be cold. Gentle on his skin, please! He is so terrified, poor baby. Not used to all the actions going on. Beautiful baby!
That band on baby"s left arm will poke her bloody eye. You are so rough

The miracle of child birth. A precious gift from God to parents. The most beautiful sound on earth - the cry if a new born infant. ❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹
This video is from 9 years ago, this child must be 9 years of age. SO Absolutely precious and cute.....BUT why is it coming up in my feed right now.....haa haa haa!
Me too 🤣🤣🤣
If he is alive.....
I agree this baby is treated too rough. This is a brand new life. Its precous. The baby does not understand this rough treatment. Thats why they cry so hard after being treated rough.
I personally feel they should be very gentle with the new born baby. Adorable
I think so too...poor child...
yeah i was cringing the whole time seeung how rough baby was being handled 😭😭
The baby should cry for some reasons
Really rough..

Poor 👶 baby. He is cold hungry and too much light in his face. What a cutie
She was So DAMN RUFF... LADY I'M ONLY 1 MINUTE OLD💙
It's so precious how the baby calms down when his dad comforts him and holds his hand!! The little one even opens his eyes to look at his dad, it's so adorable. He also likes it when the nurses touches his eyes, and whenever he's being touched, he calms down. I was born via C section and it's traumatic in every which way, for both mom and baby, no way around it.
The nurse isn’t as gentle as i would prefer. The little things around his wrists look tight as well.

From a NICU RN: Newborns need to roughed up a bit immediately after birth so they scream and expel all the blood, amniotic fluid and mucus from their lungs. If they don't get the fluid out, it will cause a serious pneumonia that could potentially end the child's life. Believe me - it's not nearly as bad as it looks.
Poor pumpkin. Being born is such a traumatic experience 😂
That's why they yawn so much lol
He’s sooo breathtakingly beautiful!!! I just saw the info the mother posted and she can ASSURE all of you who watched the video the baby was well taken care of and experienced nurses were tending to him.❤️. This mother had a C-Section and they were only cleaning out his airways and other details were performed to ensure his safety before leaving the hospital so don’t worry… this cutie is fine! 🎉❤ As a mom myself of my own beautiful daughters all I can say is-. Let mom celebrate the joy!!🥰❤️❤️

Nothing you said in your comment changes anything about how the newborn was treated.
And there’s nothing YOU said changes my mind! What the heck was so darn wrong with my comment anyway?? GET LOST
So sweet!! Ever wonder why newborns cry first instead of doing something else?? I know they are scared and cold, but why do they cry, or how do they know how to cry immediately?? Precious baby!! 😘♥️
They cry because they know that this world is full of pain
Their lungs and new system kick in immediately they need to breath because for 9 months the infants lungs are inactive in the womb of the mother, a crying newborn is a sign of a healthy baby, a newborn that does not cry is a sign that something is wrong and will require immediate care...I'm not a doctor just passing info I've seen before
They need to cry to expand their lungs.
Can't wait till my grandbaby is born!! About 7 more months!!
I think he's gonna have alot to say when he gets older lol. God bless him.
TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE! THESE ARE EXPERTS SAVING BABIES! Pray 🙏 for them...they know what they're doing! ❤
Please pray for my mom. She is in the hospital. Please.
Nurse is BRUTAL
I don't see any brutality, the nurse gotta do what he/she supposed to do. New born babies cry for 100 different reasons if Nurse had to console the baby every 5 secs then the baby will end up staying at Recovery for 5 hrs instead of being transferred to maternal/baby ward.
So rough with a new born baby ,make him feel welcome into this world
Absolutely captivating, and beautiful. Thank you for posting.
What a rough nurse! Terrible time for the newborn!
Child abuse.
Awww i cant bear how this baby is crying. Pls be more gentle.
Omg. This baby is precious. I just love newborns.
That baby's like wth hell did u put on my head. It's unfamiliar & idek if I should like it or not. You could ask u know 😤. Oh wait, I can't talk. I dont even know if I'm gonna like it here. Put me back!!!
hes probably playing fortnite now
🤣🤣🤣
Lol
The name tag on the left hand side it can scratch baby the way had been tied the long band can scratch ice or body thank you
Fair.
Hysterical
So different in the UK... Baby is wiped over quickly and then immediately (unless medical complications prohibit) put on mum for skin to skin, comfort and warmth. This just seems a little cruel to me. I love the first moments with my baby, so grateful I get that time!
Mom had a C-section, so they were busy stiching her back up. He did get swaddled up shortly after this video and met mommy.

C section oooof poor babies born and wait momi to recover
@@GuinnessPhish even so babies are usually put close to moms face or on her chest the opposite way unless something is extremely wrong
Aww look at him trying to open his eyes ..bless him
If you come out of the safety of the womb and aren’t screeching and carrying on, you haven’t been pulled into this world. He just needs some coddling and being put in his mum’s arms. But they must check the Apgars and give the wee bit a seal of approval.
Blah blahhhhhhh
Remember this is 11 years ago...
True, now this guy probably has a tiktok account and plays fortnite everyday

You then were born? Or had you then brought into the world your child?
Everyone freaking out but they need to purposely bother the baby to assess his response, it's called APGAR score. They know what they're doing.
Welcome to the world Baby you're strong
And Healthy, How cute you are 😘🥰❤
MAY GOD BLESS THE BABY! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
