- After going to Japan twice and visiting Akihabara several times, I have seen my fair share of Tokyo Ghoul Collectibles! But there is nothing quite like Figurama Collectors Tokyo Ghoul Statue! This is the best one out there without a doubt!

Its called a kagune, the show has ended though, there’s two tokyo ghoul seasons and 2 seasons of tokyo ghoul:re. Can’t wait to receive mine, ordered through a retailer so will take a bit longer.
Believe its pronounced ka-gu-ney.
Human weapons made out of kagunes of dead ghouls are called quinque’s (pronounced kwin-kay)
A kagune is a ghouls predatory organ.

Yo George! Super excited to see you do an unboxing and review on an anime piece! Hope you’ll do more in the future. Kinda regret not getting this piece, I went with the Hunter x hunter piece from Figurama instead. Btw, those aren’t worms at the base, they are centipedes and they hint at some crazy stuff that happens in future episodes of Tokyo Ghoul! I guess this means you’re going to have to preorder the new companion piece (Touka vs Tsukiyama) from Figurama that’s going to be revealed tomorrow 😝🤣
Yeah man that new one is dope!! That episode that the second statue depicts, is actually what made me say, ok this is cool, and kept me hooked. Thanks for the explanation about the centipede.
The centipeded and the pink rose under the tray with torture equipment are both little easter eggs. The rose refers to an event during the specific episode, the centipedes are of more importance in later episodes.

Why does the edition number says "sample" at the bottom of the base? I thought it was supposed to show the edition number?
