Got this guy and he had a loose leg, had to use the hot water, cold water trick to tighten it up but it's definitely a good figure. Hoping we get more posable Tokyo ghoul figures in the future.
@@strawhatkage183 Heating up water to a certain degree and placing figure joints in the water will allow the plastic to become more malleable/soft. This makes it easier for you to fit the pieces in that otherwise may have been harder to do out the box For me...my kaneki had a loose leg, so the leg would pop out incredibly easily/annoyingly. I heated a cup of water up in my microwave for about 1min30sec, then placed the figure waist-high in for about 40sec Then took the figure out and proceeded to pinch/squeeze the joint where it was loose so that it was more tight around the ball-joint. I then had a cup of very cold(ice) water and quickly placed the figure in the cold water right after pinching the joint tighter. Waited about 40sec or more and then when I took the figure out the joint was much tighter. This technique helps for joints that are both loose/tight. Hoping that helps for any figure joint issues you might run into!
I got Kaneki and he's really great in my opinion. He fits better in scale with Tsukiyama and other figures, meaning that Juuzou is the odd one out, and his articulation (if you work finagle the joints right) is a lot better than either figure. He feels like how the entire line should've been. The only downside is that he costs a lot more than he should, especially with the limited accessories, but for me that's negligible because I'm happy that I have a good Kaneki figure with good articulation. Even my one big qualm that I had, the fact that the legs couldn't kick up far, can be fixed if you just use the thigh swivel and turn the lower leg, and his outward motion is also greater than expected. His neck and head articulation is great and his torso articulation as well, both chest and waist. Happy to not be disappointed for once with the Tokyo Ghoul line from Medicos, especially since Kaneki is my favorite character. On another note: I've been thinking of just grabbing some of Tsukiyama or Juuzou's hands that might be left over or that I will never use on them and putting some small pieces of black tape on the fingertips (for the black fingernails) and then putting them on Kaneki instead.
Ahhh, yeah Kaneki is definitely better than the other 2. I was quite happy with it as well. But seeing how the line is doing, I am not sure if we will get to see some other ones T_T I want Amon and Arima... T_T
I am always curious to see what Max Factory will do next. The ones they are doing these days are pretty random lol. SHF...I think they are going too hard on the US market with WWE, Star Wars, and DBZ. It's nice, but I would like to see some other Anime stuff lol

Super Action Statue figures look amazing, The JoJo line is brilliant. But the figures are fragile the joints tend to be too loose or frozem completely.
Yeah SAS is more for display T_T. I wish the joints can be better, or just the scale.. I really would love to see the same figure made by Figma or SHF.. would be amazing.

I would love Amazing Yamaguchi Revoltech to pick up the Tokyo Ghoul figure line they would absolutely kill it. We would most likely get a bunch of different styles for his Kagune to actually make it like he can fight, we'd get different faces that are pretty good, I think the look would be way better and for those who know the revoltech line, articulation would be perfect.
Oh yeah you're right, with what they are doing recently with my hero and DC/marvel, TKG would be amazing with all those joints on their tails, and all charactes has crazy acrobatics which will be no problem. Also, suit characters will have great movement too, what a COMBO

Yeah... Figma is probably better in terms of looks, but I want to be able to play the fuk out of the figure with their joints. Figma will definitely look better for sure if they were to do it, with all those soft materials.

I have no doubt in mind SHF will do a REALLY good job. However, I do not think the series is popular enough that they will allocate resources for it, let alone getting the IP for it. It's a hinge + ball very similar to other super action statue from the jojo series, replacement seems difficult based on what I remember : (. Cause it's striaght up a hinge you are looking to fix
