"if you don't quit you might make it, if you do quit you won't." Mr. Bartlett... you have the most amazing guests and ask all the right questions. I think your conversations are some the best in the world at this time. And, I cant thank you enough for what you do.
Keep going is really the key. If you don't stop you might hit your goals and beyond. If you say this won't work it won't. No one is gonna bag you to live your dreams.
What a great person you are Seth with a wonderful talent - the next time the critics bite with their acidic observations just remember how many people love the work you do - not one of them could do it, lots of love to you from Scotland ❤️
I honestly don’t think he tanked his career like most people claim. He’s more of a writer and voice actor, and he’s been more involved in that in recent years. He’s gonna be in Super Mario this year and Mufasa: the Lion King next year. That sounds like success to me and there’s def something to learn from someone like that.
IMO, anyone who does not completely adore Seth Rogan simply isn’t informed. Hopefully this video - and the selected shorts - will reach some of those folx and Seth will enjoy a really long period of FLOW in the ebbs and flows cycle everyone who Doesn’t Quit experiences
Haha. Ian McKellen is a bad example of someone late to the party. Besides, Gandalf is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.
I think comedies gives you freedom to create the most random silly things without consequence. I bet if he had to write a syfy script his methods may change a bit
Don’t think Steven asked enough questions about weed. To me Seth came across not very self aware and Steven just accepted it. I will never believe happy people smoke weed all day every day and no, it’s not like shoes. Shoes solve a problem, but Seth says he’s completely fine, without anxiety (probably thanks to daily weed) and also there is no price. Of course there is a price. For example, no longer knowing what real you is like, not dealing with emotions, not processing things. Maybe it’s him dealing with ADHD, etc instead of standard medication, but don’t think it’s a good idea to advertise the “I smoke weed all day every day and it’s awesome” lifestyle. Maybe these are just my fantasies, but I wanted a more juicy discussion.
Steven why do you ask a negative question EVERY opportunity? Show some positivity…doesn’t always have to be about ‘the Cost’ This is the happiest most self content guy and your whole episode you were trying to crow bar in him to go all depressive in his answers! Hugely frustrating
Hey @ Gazman653 - TY for articulating something that was banging around in my own head but couldn’t quite pin down. It’s quite interesting to me that Seth Rogan never missed a beat throughout. It’s like he just transmuted the negativity innuendo and “gotcha” into a reasonable inquiry and answered >that question< Pretty amazing IYTAI.
@@Jay-B87 he actually had zero hollywood connections or nepotism. I know him from Vancouver. Did stand up as a teen, got a manager, moved to LA as a late teen and made connections there. He's self-made.

So it's like he doesn't give any energy to the future schedule and each day gets 100% of him. And he's super humble.
Canadian man lol
You Sir are one of the most interesting interviewers I have witnessed 🎉

Pretty amazing IYTAI.
The downfall of this guy.. such a shame
The answer is nepotism..
How, he had zero inside connections

Next we need a video on how quickly he tanked his own career
Not one for me. I stand with Pam Anderson.
poo haha first comment poo
Seth rogan and genius in one sentence 😂 that man never once accomplished anything on his own. Is this a parody channel? In that case I’m sorry.
