Thanks for the video! My father-in-law and I did the drain replacement in about 45 minutes! It was not exactly the same model we had, but this video got us in the ballpark.

We used this video to replace a drain hose on our Samsung WF361BVBEWR/A2. If anyone else is using this video for the same model we have, there are a couple things in the video that you will need to do differently. Firstly, you don't need to slide the dispenser back. With our model, the dispenser doesn't slide back, and this tutorial works fine without it sliding back (@ 1:11). Secondly, when you pull the control panel off the top (@ 1:20), you don't need to disconnect the wire harnesses. You can keep them attached and just set the panel on top of the machine. That works just fine. Finally, @ 1:32 when you need to remove the retaining wire and spring, remove the spring first and then the wire will come out easily. Anyway, even though this video is 10 years old, it helped up to do this job perfectly. Thank you for making this video.

It really is incredibly stupid that they didn't just make the drain hose in two parts. One piece on the inside going to a connection point. The second piece on the outside connecting to the connection point. Almost any and all damage to the drain hose is going to be on the outer part. It should be as easy as connecting and disconnecting a garden hose.
This video some hundred bucks. The drain hose of my washer broke. I was able to replace it by following this video. Straight forward, but moving washer, dryer, dry floor, lift washer..was time consumming and pain in the *. Glad, all worked out well.
So glad I read the comments. Tilt the machine forward and lean onto an ottoman or something, take off the back plate and it’s an easy reach. Just know a bit of water will leak from the hose when you release.
Still helping people, drain hose replaced successfully! Thank you, now machine is up and running. Bottom screws were very tight, must be careful not to strip those.
Did the job tday unable to get clip off from back removed the front lttle door or trap Removed black plastic surround undid 2 screws holding in water pump and changed the pipe . The original pipe did have an elbow on it . But u can get away with just a replacement hose
helpful video, but can absolutely do it very easily by removing back panel and going through hole in bottom on this model. I know this will help people trying to work on other machines as well, but if anyone reads comments before they start working, on this machine, the hole in the bottom is plenty enough to get the old hose off and new one on.
I only removed the back panel and tipped the washer forward and braced it carefully. This way I could access the hose both through the opening in the bottom of the washer in addition to the opening in the rear. It was tricky but I was able to reach the hose. Be careful, there was some water in the hose when I removed it. New hose clamp has some sharp edges as well so wear work gloves!
Exactly. There's no need to completely strip down your appliance whatsoever. I took the bottom off so I could get at it easier and get the other pipes off for a good degunking.
Had my original drain hose that was too short to reach across in our new house. Bought a longer hose at Lowes. Watched this video and had it replaced in 30 minutes. This video walked me through everything perfectly! Thanks for the help!!
This is why repairman charge so much to replace this hose. I replaced the same hose by just removing the back plate and sticking my hand in and releasing the clamp. Then replacing the old hose with the new one. Save yourself about 20 steps.
Why did you need to replace it in the first place? Did it get clogged near the bend? Mine drains slow sometimes but I can't even see what is happening. It's more like the pump inside is playing games with me.
I tried the easy way and going from the back and bottom. I was to reckless and unplugged a few things and couldn't get them back in. So I went and did every step listed to fix my own mistake. Video was very helpful and I now have a new hose connected. Thank you
Great guide. Should have done my research though before tearing everything apart to clean out my hose. Didn't realize there was an accessible FILTER on the front that was plugged. At any rate I now know how to take apart my washer (and to clean out my filter)!
Thank you for this excellent step by step video! I was able to change a drain hose on a slightly different Samsung model, but everything was pretty much the same!
Holy shit this is madness! Why didn't Samsung just put a nozzle on the back of the machine!!?!? Practically dismantle the machine to replace a hose?! wtf?!
Great job! We are always happy to help. If you would like to give us a review on Google, we would much appreciate it: g.page/r/CcVUrahZNozMEBM/review We hope that you have a great day!
Yo i just flipped the washing machine face first, laid a towell down so you dont ruin the face display or buttons. Then just grab the hose. So simple, so cheap. Trust me.
Good instructional video. Other than a hole, why would you need to replace drain hose? Need to know proper placement of drain hose in drain. My Samsung washer model #WF405ATPASU/AA dumped all its contents as it was loading up water for “quick wash” cycle. (Error code nF) Observed steady trickle from bottom front/left panel. Debris trap, pump (pump impeller spun freely) and boot seal were all cleaned with associated hoses two weeks prior to massive leak. Washer ran well. **Cannot obtain parts for my machine. Help 🤢
I thought it was helpful. I 100% cannot tilt my washer in any direction so the 50-step work around will save me straining my back. I don't mind tedious work to spare my muscles.
Hi I have a Samsung front loader 7.5 Kg washing machine model (WF8750LSW1/XSA) and the front part of this drain hose (outside the machine) has broken. I looked inside and the hose looks fine. Can I buy this part and connect it to the existing making it longer without removing the inside part? Is this the correct part number for my model? Do I need some additional connector to join the old and new hose? Do I buy from you? Thanks for your advice and nice videos.
+taralotti That model seems like it is not used in the North American market so we cannot get parts. Also, most newer models cannot have drain hose line added because the pumps are designed for maximum energy efficiency so they are not strong enough to pump beyond the stock hose.
What is the part number of the small black rubber flapper (check valve) inside the hose near the pump? I just replaced our pump and its leaking at the pump / discharge hose interface. The rubber flapper (where it seats on the pump) is expanded and tends to slide down when I put the hose on. I think the check valve needs to be replaced.
You don't have to do anymore than remove that back panel. Then follow the hose from the back to the front with you hand. You'll feel where it's clamped to the pump. Squeeze the clamp with you fingers. Slide it down the hose little. Wiggle hose off of pump and remove. Reinstalling new hose is easy too. You'll be working blind but it's a complete joke. Slide hose onto pump. Squeeze clamp and slide clamp on the drain hose. I take these Samsung drain hoses off and reinstall them at work for customers.
Brand new washer had a pin hole leak near the middle of the drain hose. Didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it so I tried your method. My arms are too short and I get no leverage on the clamp. The video method is such a hassle. Its a stacked washer drys in a tight closet. PITA either way. Poor design. The last samsung had easy access to the pump and all connections through the back panel. good washer but the control panel fried. oh well
My Samsung frontloading washer leaks from the back (a lot) and always towards the end of the cycle - last 20 minutes (rinse, spin and drain) any idea what this is so I can isolate the problem?
sir i have lg fuzzy logic 6.0kg Model no. T70CSA13N. It is not draining water and spining. After washing i put out clothes but water does not drained.I try next time to drain water but drum just move and stop but indicators indicate cloths are washing. it does not complete full processes like rinse, spin. plz sir suggests me aa possible as
i have one of the old model fuchs-ware front loading washing machine. The rear hose (3 in one ) is giving me some problem. Its old and tends to leak . Can any suggest where can i get a new one . We managed to repair the leak, by cutting and making the hose smaller, We inserted a pvc pipe to join the hoses. . May not last long . Please help. thanks
We do not know much about the Fuchsware products as it is antique brand and sold outside of the U.S. Unfortunately, RepairClinic.com does not have data or parts for this brand and we are unaware of a supplier supporting that brand. We recommend that you do some more Google or Ebay searches for parts for this brand.
i did mine in less steps (put machine on its side and accessed underneath). however it was a bit fiddly getting to the retaining clamp (had to reach behind the pump with little room)
my samsung doesn't have a removable panel on the back, it has (it appears) the top part can be removed, so I don't know how to replace the drain hose :( just replacing it due to needing a longer hose (which I have)
Hi, I have a samsung Front loader WD8704EJA 7.5Kg/4Kg Washer/dryer combo, Drain pipe needs to be replaced! Is this the correct part number for my model ? Part #DC97-12534D ? Please advise,
sir for opperating it four button are given - 1)auto off 2)start/pouse 3)procesa(four indicators-1)turbo 2)wash 3)rinse 4)spin.)& last button no.4)water level(it have alsp four indicators like-XL,L,M & S. sir when i operated just main switch then auto off button then press start button and clothes are completly cleaned amd water drained automatically but today i going through same process but water not drained. i does not recognise problm is where. plZ help me sir.....
Other Brands make it so simple to replace the drain hose, I like to know who the heck engineered this, please post their name so I can complain to the right person.
Dude, this is ridiculous, just lay the machine on its side and you can access the drain hose from the hole in the bottom of the washer case. It's a 15 minute job, not a billed 2 hour job...
Bruh, wtf. The hose is on the bottom. Tilt it back take off a hose camp undo a screw thingy and take off hose. 5 Minutes max, why tf am I taking off the top panel or any of that, keep it simple, repairman I’m sure do it the same way I did
Thanks for the video! My father-in-law and I did the drain replacement in about 45 minutes! It was not exactly the same model we had, but this video got us in the ballpark.

Step one. Disassemble the washing machine.
Step 3....Profit

You can tilt the washer back and reach the hose from the bottom without taking any of the other stuff off.
Yeah
I took back panel off and got to it from there. It was a little tough to get pliers on clamp ring but better than breaking down entire machine
Thank u got to do it tday
Did the job tday unable to get clip off from back removed the front lttle door or trap

My point also. It's to complicated to remove all these parts

Thank you again. I changed my drain hose again, due to sun rot, and this video was so helpful a second time.
This is why repairman charge so much to replace this hose. I replaced the same hose by just removing the back plate and sticking my hand in and releasing the clamp. Then replacing the old hose with the new one. Save yourself about 20 steps.

@@indonesiaamerica7050 well.. i also need to replace mine as the tube plastic materirl deteriorated after serval years.
@@hpwan2
I see.
My problem turned out to be a leaking valve at the top (input). The excess water leaked in after the wash cycle had ended.
I tried the easy way and going from the back and bottom. I was to reckless and unplugged a few things and couldn't get them back in. So I went and did every step listed to fix my own mistake. Video was very helpful and I now have a new hose connected. Thank you

This only some engineer can do this. I will never go for this. So big job. I surrender.

Thank you for this video! My cat chewed the drain hose on our washer and I was able to replace it on my own!
What did I just watch !!!
Samsung... Are you really serious about this video of replacing a hose ?
Thank you this video gave me the confidence to to this job and i did thank you!!!!!🎉

going to try millenmify method first. seems like a lot to take apart just to get hose out.
this is sooooo simple, I love it!!!!!!!!!
At first 30 seconds I tought this gonna be easy peasy work.
It all went downhill from 0:50 though.

syden the lobot That's unfortunate. I'm 5'10". Resting a measuring tape on my shoulder I can pull the tape out 26". Never played basketball either.
Very helpful video.
Thank you Ronald!
I just replaced a pump in mines. You can get to that clamp from underneath the machine. All you really NEED to remove is the back panel
I'd recommend doing the pump and hose at the same time. Since I'm still having drainage problems

Wth. This is the most absurd video. Why on earth did Samsung make it this ridiculous to replace the drain hose?
So people can watch this and be like fuck this I’ll just call them out to do it
It didn’t require all of that. Look at some of the other comments that explain how to do it from the back.
Are you fucking serious? Way too many things for a replacement. Horrible design

To change the oil in your car, first remove the engine. Really? I think not. Only need to replace the part outside the machine, splice kit is quicker.
What the heck?
Easier to buy a new machine. Geez.
What the fuck
