I used to be so insecure about my natural hair that I would either tie it up and pretend it didn't exist or I would straighten it. It used to get in the way all the time and I just hated it. I had damaged my hair so bad that my ends were breaking a ton. My hair would come out in clumps because of it. I had put so much product in my hair to keep it the way I wanted it. I knew my hair was extremely unhealthy but I wanted it to be like everyone else's. After a while I realized that my hair was practically dead and that it was time to make a new start. I started buying natural hair products and never straightened my hair. I now have a healthy head of hair in my curly state. I've learned to embrace it and I would never go back to my old ways. If you have curly hair, please leave it natural, and embrace it because it's beautiful.☺️❤️

So there was a time when I absolutely hated my curly hair and sat up for hours and straighted it without any heat protection product. And when I didnt have time to straighten it I always had my hair in a bun. So I saw this video on my feed and I was like wow let's check it out. I saw tour hair and all those cute styles and I remember that I let my hair down and tried one of the styles. Loved it,and then I keept going. I let my hair out more often,and once I went with my hair curly to school I got so much compliments. You made me realize how beautiful my hair actually was.
