I love seeing all these innovative ingredients. Being aware of these ingredients really helps me see what options I have as a cosmetic formulator. Much of what you see on UA-cam are DIY and ingredients that are not industry standard giving the end result a disappointing texture and skin feel. Fun sprayable lotion, Tasmin! I look forward to creating more of these myself. I have made skin milks and lotions with Multibase which is available from different manufacturers. I always worried that the preservative level was too high in thick creams and perhaps too sparse in lotion milks. Its nice to be able to look at how it is made from scratch and create a stable sprayable lotion. Cheers!

Thank you for your informative videos but why you use complicated ingredients but not known raw materials?

That's a great question because these, I believe, are not available to small businesses. Or perhaps their audience is the cosmetic scientists who work for big companies?

There are a few ways to broaden your searches for raw materials:
      • Visit our global suppliers page: createcosmeticformulas.com/IngredientSuppliers/cosmeticingredientsuppliers-897/
      • Join our Cosmetic Raw Materials for Small Brands facebook group: facebook.com/groups/1734896293290235/ here you can split packs with others to access materials from large suppliers
When you are a student with us, you also get access to our raw material database, which has 1000’s of raw material details in it, along with supplier details - so you can access this info, get in touch with suppliers and ask for samples (they will provide our students samples) and/or seek minimum pack sizes (or consider purchasing and splitting packs on the Small Brands facebook group above).
