      hello, I would like to try out sucragel and buy it.
      I live in the Netherlands and have googled a lot but I can't find sucragel anywhere, not even under the inci name, so where can I as a private individual buy this, preferably with a Dutch payment option such as iDeal

    I have played with sucragel now an twice had it completely seperate after adding fragrance. Other times its fine. Just kind of bummed because of the loss of product but any other products out there that can work like sucragel?

    • @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401
      @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401  6 місяців тому

      Takes some practice, needs to be added very slowly and bit by bit. Ensure you are only adding the next part of it once the previous one is homogenous. Emulsion will start to turn like an off white colour and become thicker so you will also need to increase rpm of your mixer

    If I don't have a mixer such as this.. is it a problem?

    • @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401
      @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401  2 роки тому

      A propeller mixer works best but you could also use a stick blender - just be careful of air when using a stick blender and keep your additions small at the start, even though the blender won’t reach the base of the product.

    I’ve been attempting to create an emulsion with water. 7g of Sucragel to 35g of oil. It’s starts out smoothe like yours but the end result is choppy or clumpy. Also when I add it to my water phase,46g of water, it’s sooooo runny, like milk. I’m trying to start with 100 g of product. What am I doing wrong?

    Is there any way to thin/dilute the product out? I’ve followed the instructions using Sucraclear and coconut oil and got a beautiful, clear result but it’s very thick. I’d love to try to use it as a base for other products if that’s possible?

    • @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401
      @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401  2 роки тому +1

      Not with sucragel, no. Part of its stability comes from the way it builds structure in the formula - to thin it would make it unstable.

    • @simplycocolicious2244
      @simplycocolicious2244 2 роки тому +1

      Butters will naturally thicken out any formula. I suggest using another oil or reducing the amount of coconut oil. Should you want coconut oil anyway, then go for fractionated coconut oil and that should make it less thin.
