Hello Andrew. thank you for the clear lessons! I will be happy to know if you have a lesson about future passive voice? thank you in advance.
I don't have a video specifically about the future passive. It is on my list of videos. :)
Andrew
good.
What a great video! Thank you so much sir. I can learn a lot from it. May I ask you a question? The question is "No one has lived in that house for years."
Can we change this sentence into passive? If Yes. How can we change? Because it does not have an object and the main verb lived is an intransitive. However many learners say that it can be changed into passive like this "That house has not been lived for years." Is it right? I look forward to seeing your reply. Thank you.
Thank you sir from indai
Which programme that you use to explain???
All the questions were answered correctly by me
Perfect, very good.

Hi Andrew, thank you for the lesson. I want to know the difference between "My car was stolen" and "My car has been stolen" And Is it correct to say "My car is stolen". Thank you.
Sir,in what sense I should take the word"voice" here.Does it convey the voice of our tone.Does it mean the voice is active? Please explain.P Siva Rao,India.
Dear teacher I have a Doubt I can add subject of active in a passive with by
Hello sir , our teacher of oral expression told us to introduce ourselves in 2 minutes . What should I say i.e what is the important things to say . Hope you answer me

I was allowed to leave early.
We are not allowed to wear jeans.
They were not allowed to smoke during the meeting.
Lots of photos were taken at the wedding.
I got three points
Thank you so much! what if i say I am allowed to leave early.
Yes, very good.
Last 3rd question... How it's become were.. pls answer
Hallo, teacher. Thank you a lot. I got it. My exercise is correct.
Can I addition BY+ subject of the active sentence (when it's there) for giving more information . Isn't ? For example : ' Our mother don't allowed us to wear jeans.
WE AREN'T ALLOWED TO WEAR JEANS BY OUR MOTHER. Thanks again. Cheers.
👨🏻🏫 Hello, Caterina. Mr Teacher here in England 🏴. Your example sentences are almost correct. This is how I would write them: ‘Our mother DIDN’T / DOESN’T allow us to wear jeans.’ ‘Our mother WON’T allow us to wear jeans.’ I hope this is helpful for you.
@@sirmeowthelibrarycat many thanks. I haven't noted my mistake (no DON'T, but DOESN'T because the subject is a third singular person) .
3,they were not allowed to smoke during the meeting
Some questions are there . Why is all the by ...(S) being removed??. For example instead of seeing " lots of photos were taken by the photographer at the wedding", it is written "Lot of photos were taken at the wedding". I hope some doubt may be disappeared thanks in advance!

1 - This computer is broken down every month. Or 2 - This computer breaks down every month. Which sentence is correct and why? Please answer.
2: "This computer breaks down every month." is correct because we use the present simple to describe a regular action or habit and the frequency of that action. (every month)
Sentence 1: "This computer is broken down every month." We are using the passive present tense to form an adjective from the verb break. (broken). So we are describing the state of the computer with the verb "be" + the adjective "broken" .
Grammatically, "This computer is broken down every month." is correct, but it is quite strange to describe the frequency of a state.
We can say "This computer is often broken down."
@@CrownAcademyEnglish Many Thanks
