  • We can use certain combinations of verbs and prepositions to make a phrase or sentence.
We call these combinations collocations. That means a combination of words that are often together.
In this lesson, we will look at the prepositions "for", "from" and "in".
You will learn the English verbs that we can use with the prepositions "for", "from" and "in".
For each preposition I give you a list of verbs that can go before it. In total, you will learn a total of 16 verbs and prepositions collocations.
This lesson was presented by Andrew, a qualified native British English teacher with over 15 years experience of teaching English.
