Per L doesn’t mean anything all that matters is how the power is put down and what the maximum over all hp and tq numbers that can be achieved are before it blows up. Those ford motors don’t gain that many cubes or L as you say when built. As you can see here. Granted the mustang isn’t built but there’s no real point the internals can take more power. Really all that is gained is strength or higher reving capability with mustangs which is the equal double edged sword. But yes for a smaller displacement motor they do well in a certain range. Without boost it’s not beating that camaro. So hp per liter means nothing. Do tq per liter you will be way lower. Tq hp and rpm are what give power numbers and where they start and Carry through the rpm band is what makes a car fast along with weight aero and grip.

Definitely a good NA race. Still though I don’t think an all motor Coyote is worth it. By the time you do the Stage 3’s, CJ intake, port the heads, and finish the rest of the bolt ons you could have just bought an off the shelf turbo kit and made 150+ extra HP over the NA build. LS/LT engines have the NA stuff down with their displacement. And believe me it pains me to say that as I love the Coyote and that’s what’s in my truck but the things really don’t shine until you feed them extra air.

A 6.2 makes more torque than a 5.0 coyote.. even tho its a coyote its still a 5.0ltre.. if they are both built similar the 6.2 will always win especially in a drag or slow roll.. the 5.0 simply does not make the torque that the 6.2 does.. the coyote would have to be more radical to beat the 6.2 out of the hole and a slow roll.. the coyote has large 4 valve cylinder heads.. thats why it pulls better towards the other end..that is the only advantage it could have.
