Torque numbers are high with the 631.6@5000 rpm and the 629.3 @ 5300 shows an efficient combo, nice power with the 732.2@6900. Nice combo. Have you made any updates?
I don't know who this young woman is, but as an old guy engine builder, I thought "how cute!" and started watching her! Sorry for my ageism but I never considered she could be THE greatest race driver of all time! Then, although I still think she is a cute young girl I started seeing all the tech and money she is spending on this car and engine! Badass! I was eyeing the GPI MAX 2.0 package for a while, LS7 ports make waaaay better power than LS3 ports. It's really cool to see someone put it on the a 416, I've been wondering how it would do ever since Andrew @ GPI had mentioned that this package was in the works on the Camaro5 forums a few months ago.
LS7's are awesome but LS3's are no slouch. On the ford windsor side you have to go to serious aftermarket heads to be in the ball park of LS3 and LS7 heads. I'd imagine it's the same on the SBC side too.
I agree with you on that. Even though I’m not biased on cars, I’ve had an absolute blast with my LS3 and don’t plan on getting rid of it. Although I have some videos coming up after this series of the Honda & Duramax shhh

We are building a racetruck at our shop. 420 stroker motor with stage 5 cam and ported and polished heads. And a 200 shot of nitrous at first. Na should exceed 700 easy.
I would love to see more girls get into this and have some fun on both the drag strips and circuit tracks with stuff they built themselves. Videos like these shows other girls out there that you don't have to be a butch crew cut tomboy to have fun with cars and engines. I do too. I was looking at it for a while for my last block because it’s hard to find plastic Intake Manifolds (no heat soak issues being in AZ). The heads in this Heads and cam package is where all the power comes from. I was so impressed!

He is dead on with timing in that motor. More timing doesn't always make more power. You have to time it according to fuel, rpm range etc. You're making good power for what you have. 10 second car easy.
All of the guys at GPI are extremely knowledgeable and I was very lucky to be there along the process and soak up all the info. It’s awesome to show off their process to you guys and it shows that they aren’t afraid to hide what they do and how trusting they can be for future builds! I’m excited to take her the track!

Yeah the estimated number is around 620rwhp. I’m still on stock SS Gears and it’s built for Road Course so we aren’t trying to maximize the power. Goal is anything over 600rwhp!
That smile will come back every time you fire that engine up. What was the average torque from 4500 to 6500 that's were you need it on a road course. With that power you're going to start finding the little weak links in the drive line be prepared. Been watching the whole process even learned a few things more .

Kayla I have just found your channel and I'm only a couple minutes into the video. I've noticed you have forward pelvic tilt Girls think it's a pooch in their stomach, but really it's just your pelvis tilted forward poking out If left untreated this will cause back pain later in life it's very simple to fix Do ab workouts and glute workouts and when those muscles are both tight it will rotate the pelvis back to where it belongs This will fix any back issues you have as well as make your tummy look super flat 416 * 6,500 / 3456 / 733 = 1.067 CFM per HP What compression are you running this motor? The average hot rod motor moves 1.35 CFM to make a horsepower when you get into supercar territory it's like 1.18 Full on race cars are 1.00 How are you so close to a full-on race car with how much power per CFM your motor is making? Are you either running really high compression, is it may be running methanol? It is very rare to see a motor moving that little amount of air to make one horsepower
I am running on 11.8:1 Compression. On Pump E & 91. We didn’t want to push compression too much since I needed to be able to run on 91 since it’s a street car as much as a road course build.
Ok it says the GPI Max 2.0 package which features a head with LS7 port height and intake setup to work on a LS3 size bore. So it'll remove some of that difference between the lower port height LS3 port and "high port" LS7 port.
Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!! (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!!!!!!!!!!

It is ALL about the IMPROVEMENT of the SPLIT PORT LS Cylinder head..Raised Ports makes the intake work better for AirFlow

They don't because the factory LS3 intake is hard to significantly improve upon, which is not the case for the LS7.

90lb injector! It’s on Flex- pump E and 91!

What is a 416?
A 416 is the cubic inch of the engine. This one is an LS3 which is commonly found in American Cars like Corvettes and Camaros.
