GOMEXUS!!! Best Aftermarket knobs for Shimano Stradic & Vanford

- I wasn't too happy with the stock knobs that came with my shimano stradic and vanford so I decided to try the GOMEXUS brand. After the change out I immediately felt the difference. The GOMEXUS is far more comfortable. I must say the older shimano knobs felt much better than the newer ones.

Great video! I saw that on Vanford it didn’t spin so well, maybe you should change the size of washer. In the set there are washers with different thickness. With my Daiwa MQ I played many times until I found proper set😅
Very true! I did realize that after the video and I found the fault. Apparently the knob wasn't seated properly on the bearing before i screw everything together. I did however fix the problem and it spins freely now.
I just bought BG MQ5000.
Do you have a video how to replace?
@@Unplugged704 replacement is in completely same way. You need to put aluminium washer before putting the bearings that’s it. I have BG MQ4000 with Gomexus knob.

It was a mistake on my part. I didn't let the knob sit properly over the bearing before tightening the screw. It was corrected and it's spinning as it should.

@@tackleaddictgy Not your fault. I have 2 Stradics (both 5000) and 2 Daiwa BG MQ (4000/5000). Only the BG MQ5000 is bigger than the other 3. Should be ok. lol. Or I can sell them. lol

Hey man sorry for asking but you know that the handle seal part actually screws off and inside is a metal handle washer? If you do see the metal handle washer inside, could you tell me if it goes curved side in or flat side in
Hey bro! Mine have a flat washer. No curve to it. So I'm guessing you'd be good going in flat first.
@@tackleaddictgy It's a really small part, i was just washing my vanquish and took off the handle seal and it all came apart. I put it in but not sure which side it supposed to go in. I looked again and saw one side has a contact patch of grease (indicating it was meshing with the handle seal). Should be okay.

@@tackleaddictgy All good, I still have no idea if I put it in correctly. It doesn't seem like a vital part. I'm currently changing around couple of my reels. Sold my vanford and got a vanquish, much better reel. Thinking of getting a 21 Ultegra or Stradic FM.
Stradic Fm! It got alittle more sugar than the fl but I still would choose the fl over the FM. But stradic fm is a better choice of the two you mention.
