Your 7.3 uses hub centric wheels which is why the lug nuts are flat and not tapered like most cars. It's a shame the aftermarket guys can't make rims to match. I think they would be much safer. Probably they don't want to make that many different sizes. The OBS truck rims were different. Have no idea about GM or Ram. When I bought a roll-over wreck from CoPart, it came with some 33's 12.5" wide but those dang lug nuts were the worst! I finally took them off because they didn't have the weight rating I needed.
I'm putting stainless steel hub caps on my dually.. I trust the steel rims more than aluminum rims... Of course aluminum rims are PERTY, I rather keep my steel rims
172,000 miles on the original brakes? That is very good. You've gotten your money out of those brake pads.

I put napa HD towing brakes on my dodge. 77k on them . They still had plenty of pad left.
