This tier is created based on the threats posed by enemies in turn-based battles. Powerful enemies are not just about their HP pool, but also the permanent negative status effects they can inflict and the potential damage they can deal. Additionally, enemies with high AGI (agility) can be quite dangerous, even with low HP, as they may cause significant harm to players, both in solo and party battles. Pretty sure Stitches has a 20hp head and 0 magic evasion. You could even kill her with a murky vial in one shot

Idk how I just noticed this, but Crimson Father is literally just Gary from Spongebob in that one episode where Spongebob is going into people’s dreams and he goes into Gary’s and Gary talks all sophisticated and has a cape. The designs are eerily similar.

Interesting fact: The Needle in the tunnel is weaker due to the fact that Tanaka was able to fight him. That is, we are fighting an already wounded Needle.
However, here I have a question about how exactly he is programmed: if we kill Tanaka, will he be weaker or will we meet the standard Needle in tunnel? I beat him this way and that, and for some reason I couldn’t figure it out.
I haven't data mining about this, I'll check later if it is true
Needle is only going to be injured if you let him and tanaka fight it out in the tunnel, which will lead to tanaka’s death as a result. I’ve yet to try it but i believe you will meet normal Needle if tanaka died before the encounter

If you have persuade they become very easy to kill in 1 turn

Kinda crazy how most of these high tier enemies tend to do jackshit with the right strategy.
Meanwhile that 1 fucking inquisitor can be a run ender and your best bet is to just avoid them and don't waste ammo or fight them. Yet the singular bremen trooper can just give you top tier crazy loot and be easily disarmed with 2 rifle bullets.
Y woodsman in A tier tho??? Just 300 damage is all it takes.
Needles appears twice. Needles learnt to multiplt via mitosis you are no longer safe
All of this is relative, new players might even lose against the woodsman if they don't understand how this game works. And why did I put it in A? Because it serves as a marker for new players that this game isn't for everyone. I respect woodsman and his personal problem lol.
Putting doppelganger Olivia in D is a mistake she also has Nettle Mist, giving the player the Irritated status which is a run ender.

Once you unlock "Red Arc", the majority of ennemies drop to rank D.

Five seconds in. The moonscorched enemies don’t hit you in battle. They should be at the very bottom.
Edit: Also, pipe villagers are significantly more difficult than the other villagers, as their pipe arm has much more health than the standard sickle arm, and can actually cause you to stagger for several turns, resulting in an awful beatdown.

I'm new in the game. Why's Olivia so dangerous? I know she can use toxic mist, but it isn't a big deal, right?
i believe many characters here are due to their own experience, because there's no way Needles ans Stitches would be that high, nor some contestants being higher than their moonscorched counterpart
If you don't have party member/solo and decent equipment. She is a decent opponent.
If you don’t immediately kill her you can get some pretty bad permanent debuffs
I think Logic phase 2 should be S tier, but otherwise I agree.

the only thing that confuses me is why is the woodsman considered A tier? If this tier list was designed for actual experienced players shouldnt he be somewhere of a B or C?
Because you can either easily defeat him by a bear trap, or by the time u got Abella he's easily creamed thanks to the wrench throw
EDIT: I also think Bobby should be a B tier because as soon as you get 3 party members theyre not much of a threat anymore, and even 2 party members is good enough
Ghost definitely needs to be D tier tho, unless im missing like some insta kill attack, if you just punch them they die
Woodsman is the marker for new players who dont know the game mechanic similar to guard in first game. I personally give them A for that.
Every enemy can be tier down if you know what you are doing, but it will be more difficult for new players. I hope you can see this perspective

For those playing this game for the first time, it can be quite challenging if they don't understand how the game works. And Woodsman serves as a marker that this game is not for everyone.
Im sorry I just. I don't agree in the sligtest with this list. At all. Like. At all. I feel like this list is coming from someone who plays optimized builds too much and isn't thinking of generalized players or casual players at all. Which would be the case for generalized rankings like this I would assume. Because for new or casual players. This list couldnt be more wrong except for some at the bottom. Maybe tomorrow I will go into detail but I think a lot of you will understand. There is zero worlds where any of the human contestants. Not ONE of them are a bigger threat then things like Pocketcat or any contestants moonscorched forms, Or Pillarmen who casual players coming into that battle is a serious gate keeper to tougher challenges until they understand truthfully taht each battle is a puzzle.
Ronteal's are WAY tougher then like the hag as well like. I am sorry but this tier list is nonsense if you are coming from a casual perspective. I can understand it if you are someone who has done hundreds of runs and do your best to spec into certain builds asap and are unprepared for certain enemies compared to others, therefore making them harder or easier for you. But a tier list or rankings for an average player this is most definitely not.
Just my opinion is all. Sorry for typo's can't find glasses and half asleep.
Here is a great example. Pocketcat is A to S tier difficult unless you are already a pro at the game and understand how to protect your limbs because he is just going to ruin your whole day unless you get very lucky having a full party of limbs to cut because as acasual you likely aren't doing enough damage output anyway so lot more rounds going to occur. The fact that he is in the same tier as human to human contestant fights is an absolute joke. Same with the moonscorched lol.
And there is no universe for a casual where a Bobby is A tier. They are going to find out pretty fast as a casual what to do usually the first time they get back up. And the strat to beat them is really straightforward in battle. Once you figure out to beat them while they are on the ground which MOST people will after the first mistake. Its not hard to take out the arms and finish them and stomp them. Even I didn't have that problem after the first time I played it.
I agree how tf is Abella higher than Pocketcat. The only human contestant that fucked me up was Marina. I played as Olivia so I have no idea why she is A tier because obviously I didn’t fight her. I’ve also only played through once and definitely haven’t even encountered a lot of these bosses but this list does seem strange placing some of the bosses I did struggle a lot with below human contestants I had no problems with.
@@merlinho0t Try playing solo or in MASO mode and compare these contestants in the early and mid-game. They're quite challenging, especially Abella and Olivia. Abella has a dangerous skill set, such as her Wrench Toss, which has a 40% chance of causing confusion, and other abilities that can cause limb loss. Again, when talking about tiers, it's somewhat speculative based on where you are in the game. Moonscorched will feel like tier D if you understand the gimmick and are well-geared and prepared. But if you don't know anything about the game's system, even the Vile will feel challenging.
