Uhhhh no, yawn. GMA T50 Cosworth engine is next level, look at their cam drive and pistons, puts this chain drive dinosaur engine to shame.
@@tropicthndr The topic being discussed is attention to detail throughout the car. The Jesko, in the Attack config as this example, is meant to be a hardcore track beast that can also achieve incredibly high speeds. The GMA T50 on the other hand, as said by Gordon Murray himself, is meant to be a well handling driver's car not specifically intended for breakin records in terms of lap times or high speeds, makin it comparing apples to oranges. Also, the engine you speak of is built n supplied by Cosworth whereas _almost_ every part on the Jesko is made in house n that's a very tough thing to achieve for a manufacturer. The T50 is a beast in its own right (I love the thing but that fan ruins the look of the car IMHO). But my point is, give credit where credit is due.

The LST is a feat of engineering... the clutches and 3 x 3 math, I would put this in the same vein as a Quick Charge rear end from the early days of circle track racing etc, but instead of popping off the cover and switch gear set, flipping them etc at the track, to get different ratios, its basically all housed in a box and the gears are now clutches...and you dont have to do anything
To have that sound and that quick of a rev out of a turbo car is crazy. Best hyper car on the market along with T.50

Such a beautiful car with so much beautiful engineering, and such a shame that the entire production run of these stunning vehicles will no doubt see less than 100k miles in their entire lifetime as they will all be stored away in collections. All that work and effort by Koenigsegg to create such a ground breaking piece of engineering and 99% of them will never be used as intended. Truly criminal and akin to locking an eagle in a budgie cage...
If I had the money to buy one you best bet it's not sitting in a showroom somewhere, all the time lol.
Cars like this would probably be crashed or crashed into before they reach 100k miles tbh plus it’s just crazy expensive to daily use them
@@3masouri 100k for the total production run, not for a single vehicle! That is a total travesty. Might as well sell them empty shells if they just want to look at them, or a picture! I was fortunate enough to buy a bunch of Banksy's at no more than fifty GBP each. Most of the Rats, Stop and Search, Grin Reapers, and others including some works from Palestine and other exhibitions (we helped with those). Most hang on my walls in Hobby Shop frames to this day despite the value. One or two are sun damaged... Total value for insurance purposes is around 150k for those, not including an oil on canvas I have at my mums place, which is also hung on the wall (last one sold for around 175k). What I'm saying is they are all on the wall. Not one is locked away. I don't treat them with kid gloves nor lock them in a bank. I display them to enjoy them, despite Banksy being a total and utter twat. Most collectors never even hang them up! If I could afford one of these cars it would be covered in bird-shit on my driveway with crisp packets in the floor well. I'd use it for all it is worth. Likewise with my record collection which I spin most days despite their crazy value nowadays. Moral is these things have a purpose. Use them and enjoy them! Life is too short. Blah-blah, etc, etc...

Another amazing video on the Jesko and its insane features. The Jesko and Valkarie are the most insane Hypercars. I love the T.50 for a drivers car and the AMG One for putting a F1 engine in a road car. But the 2 stand apart for performance.

If they had an F1 team, the rules would constantly change everytime they invented new tech, just to try to stop them from dominate the whole championship, probably.

I come from the Super Bikes and motorcycle side of things and that rev pickup was IN.SANE!!!!!. That felt more to me like a motorcycle blipping the throttle than a car revving. If I just listened to the rev audio with no knowledge of what vehicle was being revved I'd genuinely have thought it was a bike.

That is a massive production run by Koenigsegg. One may say that the Jesko is the Koenigsegg for the masses. I may even see one on the UK roads one day...
I've said this already in one of the plenty koenigsegg videos JWW put out, you can tell the bond they have is strong and i cant forget to mention how passionate, present and invested Christian is compared to most ceos (apart from Mate). I hope they have plans for a supercar something more attainable and wont just be a beast leashed up and collecting dust.
That would be awesome but unfortunately I don't think that would ever happen. The problem is that these cars are so niche that it's accessible only to the 1% n the thing is that the 1% takes great pride in being unique. They would be extremely displeased if more people would be able to acquire similar stuff. A great example is Pagani. They started out being reasonably priced with the Zonda n then absolutely skyrocketing in values in both the used n new car market. Current owners will continue speculation so that it remains unattainable to most people out there, even those who have a fair amount of wealth. The 3 Cylinder version of the Gemera was intended to get into the market that's held by Porsche, Ferrari n Lamborghini but that's almost been killed with the introduction of the V8 car. We've gotta wait n see how many 3 Cylinder variants will actually get sold.
