Not rushing out to get this one, but definitely one of the better hybrid vehicle builds in the 3 in 1 line up in a while. It's a fun cartoony mini figure accepting sports car with alternate builds with colors that for once really differentiate them from the main build not feeling like they're from the same set at all. Also really not that much larger than most of the Speed Champions vehicles which is nice to see.
I think you said it right - definitely a polarizing colour scheme. I built mine yesterday and as much as I like the design, the colours clanged a bit for me. I’m going to Bricklink a few parts and replace the Light Aqua pieces with regular Blue pieces and give that a try. The Red interior sits well with me but I may swap out the exterior Red for White. Great review, as always!
@@jerardocontreras1572 Yep! Brand-new sets come in stock really quickly but some of them are gone within a day, it took me a while to get my hands on a Speed Champions Lamborghini Countach 😅
I think I prefer both the alternate builds to the main build for this one! The main build isn't bad. I wish the clips that held the mirror pieces on were aqua colored, though.
I just got this set in the mail on Friday! If you feel like cheating a little, you can technically fit two minifigs in the main built, but one of them won't be stuck to the floor.
A very impressive diverse set of builds here. The color schemes are definitely different, but definitely believable on these types of vehicles! The main car looks a giant Micromachine with it's proportions haha.
All three builds are good and as you said, impressive use of the colors available for distinct color scheme on each build. I particularly like A and B, just which they were a tiny bit smaller to better work with minifigs.
1*1 Round tile in Hubs? I had no idea that was a legal connection (viewing instructions online, for the formula racer alternate build) apparently the 1*1 round tile is wide enough to fit the center of the hubs. tho a 1*1 stud does not.... Learn something new
I was looking at this set earlier today! super interesting color scheme, but for me the "buy or no buy" point was the scale. I was so hoping this would be minifig scaled, or at least a tiny bit closer to.
Aside from tbe Horizon: Zero Dawn set, this actually is the main set I wanna get this year. Love how pure it is - neither pretending to be more than a toy nor getting too gimicky and weird like some toy cars get these days. The color scheme is great, the possibilities for alternative builds are limitless and I can't locate even a single flaw, looking at it from all angles. Great, great little car.
Would have been fun to have made a small comparison with one of the Speed Champions sets. Same price. Tbh though, thinking about it some more. Perhaps it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. They are pretty different things.
I don't know why lego hasn't made a single one 3 in 1 set with minifigures yet in 2022. It's frustrating because they've been some of my favourite sets in the last few years.
I don't really understand why this set exists. It's too big and elaborated for LEGO City, but as an display model you can get an Speed Champions-set for the same money that looks way better and less toy-like. This set is a good parts pack though.
Underrrated colour scheme in my opinion. Very nice use of colour distribution throughout the three builds to differentiate them. Would have prefered minifigure scale though.
I actually like not so realistic LEGO cars. I mean, why you wouldn't build some vehicle that doesn't exist in real life? So, this set really works for me! It just looks cool, all of the 3 buildings. And it's nice how it accepts minifigures in its 3 alternate modes n_n
I just want to say, that if you build the formula-racer, you will probably be disappointed like I was at how high it sits off of the ground, which really detracts from its aerodynamic look.

I like how unashamedly toylike this is. Add an aerial and this looks like a 'chibi' remote control car.
Yeah reminds me of the plastic cover pullback cars I had as a kid
I'm really liking some of the new Creator sets this year! I think I made an audible squeal when I saw the Super Robot set at Kmart 😅
Woah Kmart? Lucky you

@@yoghurtlord1745 Where are you that Kmart still operates? I thought they all went out of business...
Awesome! Lots of super useful colours, and I really like the alternate builds, especially the open wheel racer.
Colour scheme is great. A nice break from medium azure. I love getting those fenders in turquoise.
man Jang’s been cranking out videos left & right, thanks for all the hard work Jang! You rock!
I remember playing with Lego cars as a kid and I would have LOVED this set! It is so funky and the minifigure playability is awesome.

I’m getting two for Rock Raiders Mocs!
That indy/f1 alt build is really neat. Fun.
This is a great parts pack for me. All those useful pieces in dark turquoise will come in handy.
This is one of the better 3 in 1 sets from the Creator line. The main build is a bit blocky but the others look great on their own.
I used to watch URC like 10 years ago. Hearing your voice again is crazy.
I'm glad to see you moved up in life with Lego 👍👍

Lego cars keep getting better and better
A very impressive diverse set of builds here. The color schemes are definitely different, but definitely believable on these types of vehicles!

The first thing i thought when I saw it was actually that its got such cool colors
Colors good and toy-like. Also it has studs to show it is lego but doesn't have too many.
What I really really like about JANG is that he is independent, no sponsored 'my opinions are my own' nonsense. Thank you JANG!
The colors are certainly very unconventional, but all three builds just seem like wholesome Lego builds, I love them!
All three builds are good and as you said, impressive use of the colors available for distinct color scheme on each build. I particularly like A and B, just which they were a tiny bit smaller to better work with minifigs.
I think I'll get this set sometime cause one of the builds looks just like a Formula race car like in Trackmania
I think I like this set better without the spoiler
Perhaps you could fit two figures if you were to stagger them
I thought I wouldn't like these 'off' colors, but it turns out really nice!
Oh I love that color
My hotrod build holds two guys. They don't snap in, there are no studs there-- but they both do fit.
Really miss Lego minifig scaled huge jet planes with detail cockpits etc.. Those were gold man.. We need a new Blue Power Jet
1*1 Round tile in Hubs?
I had no idea that was a legal connection
(viewing instructions online, for the formula racer alternate build)
apparently the 1*1 round tile is wide enough to fit the center of the hubs.
tho a 1*1 stud does not....

Stud or tile works.
It's how the red VW Camper holds the wheel covers on

This car needs some lego minifigures.

Imagine that set with some reflective chrome parts instead of that awkward grey pieces.
Blocky, yes, but that it can hold a minifigure works for me
I hope you can review the new bttf delorean 😊
As a hardcore Speed champions fan this might be on my list
I don't know why lego hasn't made a single one 3 in 1 set with minifigures yet in 2022. It's frustrating because they've been some of my favourite sets in the last few years.
hey jang wondering if you will purchase and review the new jurassic world dominion sets when they get released?
the color scheme looks like the bombers team color scheme in Rocket league
Cool. I like the colors.
It may not feel like it was made by another manufacturer but it sure looks like it was. 😁
I don't really understand why this set exists. It's too big and elaborated for LEGO City, but as an display model you can get an Speed Champions-set for the same money that looks way better and less toy-like. This set is a good parts pack though.
Kinda funny how a minifig would have to step on the horizontal pipes to enter the main build!
Underrrated colour scheme in my opinion. Very nice use of colour distribution throughout the three builds to differentiate them. Would have prefered minifigure scale though.
When will there be a mega construx vid?
Is this the same size as the Speed Champions? Looks like two mini figs fit just fine.

Considering this is 10 wide and speed champions is 8, it's not too much of a stretch to say this is minifig scale.
Change the colors to rusty red and brown and you have a mad max car
Would the wheels and tires fit an 8 wide speed champions car?
How well do you think a minifig would scale with the Formula 1 model?
awsome car
Nice
Can you fit a figure in there?
I just want to say, that if you build the formula-racer, you will probably be disappointed like I was at how high it sits off of the ground, which really detracts from its aerodynamic look.
Cool
If I get this I'm building the f1 car
I thought F1 and Indy were the same thing haha.
This set looked like a $30 honestly
It reminds me of the early 2000s tuner scene
yyyaaaahh... it's the hot rod. and then the f1. main build comes last.
The shape of the car is nice but not a fan of the color.
kinda looks like a hot wheels car
I think it looks like a civic type r
