Women choosing bear is insane, because they meet hundred of men daily and nothing happens to them, but a couple of encounter with a bear can easily be a death sentence. Chances of harm from men are very low (especially in this first world countries were all these tiktok brainrots live).
Meanwhile, if a guy tells his feeling to a woman, there's insanely huge chance it will backfire, while saying something to a tree has no negative effects. Which is actually a great point to make as an example of why men are checking out of dating and relationship with people who they can't trust due to constant breaking of social contracts on women side.

Opening up to ANY woman past puberty as a man is taken as a sign of weakness, and reacted to with disgust.
Disgust they will mask to varying degrees depending on how much they think they'd be expected to care/be empathetic by a 3/4 majority of their GFs. Typically ranging somewhere from:
      "Oh... that's tough. :I"
To just straight up rolling their eyes and leaving the room mid-sentence.
(And that's the best case scenario. The worst case? Is them pretending to care *fairly* convincingly, pocketing whatever information you gave her, and then pulling it out like a broken bottle the next time she's feeling spite.)

Oh, and for those of you wondering? The reason why you get a pass as a kid is because you're still cute.
It's the same reason why they're seemingly deaf to the constant noise pollution created by their yappy dogs.
Said dogs are cute and pay them constant attention, so it's automatically OK.

It's not a comparison of threat, it's a comparison of trust. Women are attempting to argue that men are so untrustworthy that they would rather take there chances with a bear. Of course we know in reality they wouldn't. Men on the other hand are arguing that they would rather trust there feelings to a wall or tree. Genuinely, with the state of women these days, we are much better off sharing our feeling with the tree / wall every time. So the only real difference is that one is an obvious lie and the other isn't

@jonquilgemstone ill tell you this right now. As a man, I have an inherent aversion to women being hurt. I get angry when I hear about that stuff happening. I am not a minority when it comes to that. Men have an inherent protective instinct tword women. Women ofter misunderstanding that as controlling. They don't understand it.
A bear, however, doesn't give a damn about you. Are there bad men? Sure, but they are a minority and many of them are made by bad women. Most men would take a bu//3t for a woman.
the more I hear women say how usless and evil we are, the less I care about them all together, and soon that protective instinct will be gone and you'll be on your own.

Woman or tree is not the same magnitude of risk or consequence, but it does attack women where they are likely to be sensitive. Women attacked men’s soft spot where men have a social investment in being safety, being providers, being trusted…women have their social status (especially modernly) in their empathy and status as someone who “really cares about people.” So saying a tree is better company than a woman is specifically designed to attack women’s self perception and value system, similar to how man vs bear attacks men’s self perception and value system.

Men being told how they should/shouldn’t respond to something that upset them is just another example of how they are ridiculed for just having feelings. We should read the male response to ‘man or bear’ as a group of people angry about being unfairly compared to a wild animal by women who have probably never encountered such an animal (but who encounter men all the time; men who don’t assault them). Men *overwhelmingly* recognise that women have had bad experiences with them; however, they’re getting fed up with around 3-5% of their number being held up as a supposedly accurate representation of the remaining 95-97%. Most of all, they’re fed up that any disagreement on their part (especially if it indicates ‘feelings’) is ridiculed or dismissed.
“Well, women are fed up of being assaulted by men”
    (1) again, most men never assault *anyone*, male or female
    (2) Men are nearly five times more likely to be a victim of male violence, but society doesn’t really care about that and is only bothered when it happens to women
    (3) when men are victims of male violence they are almost always assumed to have provoked or deserved it
Men have every right to be angry that they are assumed to be more dangerous than bears.

One; almost every single person who's been unfortunate enough to find themselves in a position to choose between grape of death has chosen grape. Almost all of them.
Two; bears are NOT like most predators. They aren't like wolves or cougars. Wolves or cougars will bite down on your neck and kill you, then eat you. Bears DON'T bother waiting until you're dead to start eating you. They will literally just eat you alive. It's one of the most agonizing deaths in the world. Look up the story of Timothy Treadwell.
