It is truly a fantastic piece of music. You can for sure play it on the acoustic guitar, you just won't have the distortion and effects. I play it on my acoustic and it sounds beautiful in an entirely new way.

Hey buddy! I'm running my guitar into Bias fx 2 (amp sim). I was using two Mesa dual rectifier amps to create this huge stereo "wall of sound." Going along with that, I had a big muff fuzz pedal and a boost going into the front end of the amps, then to two 4x12 cabinets. There's more to how I got the tone to sound how it does, such as eq, compression, saturation, mixing essentially. Of course dood! I just took a quick dive into the project and there was more then I remember going on LOL As far as EQ, I made a cut at 100Hz strictly on the mids not in stereo to get rid of that center muddiness. I then took out some low end in stereo at 129Hz to clean up the low end more, followed by some saturation and OTT compression. The eq after the OTT was a bit mental, this is when things got a little "surgical". I did some filter sweeps to find the harsh, resonant frequencies that are naturally "shrilly" and annoying to the ear. In this case, for my recording, it was around 3.3kHz and 9.6kHz. I also made another dip at 939Hz to get rid of some of that "boxiness". I did quite a lot to achieve this tone, me explaining it over a written message doesn't do it justice lol If you want I can send you pictures of my EQ's so you can have a visual of what was going on. Mixing fuzz tones can get challenging.
