This may help you. I have for several yrs now. I have a kiddy pool and a livestock tub. I place my cuttings and potted plants in water in the pools. I learned this from an old nursery man. They never dry out. Good luck I did enjoy you videos

The main stalk and main branch died so I clipped them back.. and I’m just hoping it still grows tall… but I’m not very confident. So I wanna grab a big branch from a different tree and try in a separate spot!

Can willow be propagated right in the ground from a cutting?
You can do it during the Spring when the temperature is right, make sure they get plenty of water the initial weeks.
