There are these great little battery booster packs that are fairly inexpensive and does a great job when you need a boost. Also, get a solar power trickle charger to use on your truck. I have to do that one with my old truck. It sits for long periods unused.

From the perspective of someone (in my mid 50's and struggling with disability) watching your journey for a mere year, you are a brilliant, real, honest, and courageous n brave human....struggling with recreating and reimagining my life...kudos to you for all you create for yourself and those you love.

It is also my way to break free from expectations, from ideas of society, from my own thoughts I was so convinced of being right for years. When I was watching you, I though „wow, amazing how fast she’s building things“ but primarily also „I love the things she’s creating with her own hands“. And doesn’t this show how much it depends on the person and the view how we „judge“ things? I was surprised when you said people are telling you that you should build and create faster and different. And to be honest it also made me a bit angry. It’s not their right and I appreciate your words in the video about that topic. Thanks a lot! You are one of my biggest inspirations and helped me through a tough way coming closer to myself. Thanks a lot and keep on doing things that make you happy ❤️

That said, it's human nature to want to help and sometimes that comes in the form of unwanted advise and sometimes criticism. If I have concerns I usually will put it out there in the form of a question and then a person can choose to answer or not. For me I'm just amazed at everything you do however you do it all and find myself missing my youth wishing I could have known about such a life choice as this cause I sure would have jumped at it. So you just keep on doing what you do, soak it all in and enjoy it to the max. And thank you for sharing your dream with us. And btw, that was a fabulous meal! I'm amazed at your culinary creations equal to a five star restaurant!

I'm a grandma, too, but, my siblings, daughter, nieces and (now) ex-husbands have all become self-sufficient without my presence and I can now live without feeling obliged to always pick up the pieces of their lives. I don't want to get any older without traveling and doing everything that I have dreamed of.

Some people will judge and complain regardless of what you decide to do. I believe you need to just continue to be you and trust your instincts even when they fail they have taught you something valuable. You seem happy, your man seems happy, your family seems happy for you and your dogs are especially happy. The studio priority seems like the smart choice because your pottery goals require space and temperature control to proceed. Your van has been your shelter for years and both you and Akela are happy with it no sense in rushing the change. The best thing you can do for yourself is to just be you. Its worked so far.

There's a 2 handed tool used for stripping the log called a draw knife that makes the stripping faster and easier. I used draw knives when I stripped logs last summer.

I’ve come to the realization that most people do not at all understand the amount of work it takes to put in a garden from nothing or to build an outbuilding on your own with no one to hold up the other side so u can screw it together. Learning as you go and making mistakes is all part of it. I also feel like most people are obsessed with how something looks rather than its function. And that’s just not reality when your diving into a lifestyle like this. Also I’d like to add, in my opinion you should never feel stupid for making mistakes in your videos and posting it online. We are all human and showing that helps others… we can relate easier and learn from all of it so no harm there girly! Thanks for being genuine 👌👊

Yeah. Some vehicles have negative ground and some have positive. Go figure. It's pretty rare but still something to look out for. Also have seen two red wires or two black wires or reversed. So, i always follow the wires and figure out which is ground and which is hot when working with an unfamiliar vehicle. It's good you know who you are and what you want. Do your own thing and don't worry about anybody else's ideas. The garden you have put together is really impressive!
Your duality between quiet moments and constant ramblings for me are oddly relaxing. I like to have you play in the background as I wear my headphones, I find I can be productive listening to you and your choice of music. I have been looking at land for sale in Colorado so I can be near my son without being near my son, lol. It is fascinating that there are lands for sale that are like yours and other lands that are lush with forestry and hills. What made you decide on your dessert like land in the end?

All the time I have been watching you since you bought your land the only thing I thought you could build that would be easy and a huge benefit would be an under cover area like a shed but without walls so you can do outside projects but under cover in bad weather or really hot weather. Somewhere that has a metal roof that can also gather water for you as another water collection source as well. Then you can do all your outside jobs all year round. Otherwise, I am enjoying watching you explore your interests and learning new stuff. It's very satisfying and entertaining

Isn't just waking up and going to the garden to collect breakfast just an awesome experience. Makes the day go better. And whoever installed your truck battery and cables is the one who did the shitty job, not your fault at all. Seeing you build a tanning frame has inspired me to attempt building a frame for my hammock swing from the scrap lumber my dad has lying around the barn. It'll be a good project for us to do together, he just turned 81 & we need more quality time together. Just owning property isn't cheap, so you do you and enjoy the natural beauty. If it starts feeling like work, stop rethink and do something you enjoy. About jump start, small termina is negotive and bigger is positive, also if you are using postive access point , make sure its not coming through your fuce board or any other cricuits in your vehicle. since when you start the car its taking hight current and that may damage circuits and fuces , just a hint , good luck

I just wanted to drop a line and say, I love getting glimpses of your life, I love the music you pick for your videos. I find them so calming and inspiring at the same time. My husband and I just completed renovating a new community acupuncture clinic space. We received the keys Aug 1 and the last 6 weeks have been intense trying to get it ready. But each time I tackled a new thing, I had your videos in my down time. Our drywall patches aren’t perfect and we Frankensteined the floor together and nothing is very perfect - but man it looks beautiful. Love this life of learning as we go and most importantly CREATING. PS I’ll never stop weightlifting. I love it. Keeps me feeling younger.

Yeah. Some vehicles have negative ground and some have positive. Go figure. It's pretty rare but still something to look out for. Also have seen two red wires or two black wires or reversed. So, i always follow the wires and figure out which is ground and which is hot when working with an unfamiliar vehicle. It's good you know who you are and what you want. Do your own thing and don't worry about anybody else's ideas. The garden you have put together is really impressive!
Your duality between quiet moments and constant ramblings for me are oddly relaxing. I like to have you play in the background as I wear my headphones, I find I can be productive listening to you and your choice of music. I have been looking at land for sale in Colorado so I can be near my son without being near my son, lol. It is fascinating that there are lands for sale that are like yours and other lands that are lush with forestry and hills. What made you decide on your dessert like land in the end?

Folks are always going to flippy flap and while that does get old there are so many more folks watching who feel inspired by your creativity. All the time I have been watching you since you bought your land the only thing I thought you could build that would be easy and a huge benefit would be an under cover area like a shed but without walls so you can do outside projects but under cover in bad weather or really hot weather. Somewhere that has a metal roof that can also gather water for you as another water collection source as well. Then you can do all your outside jobs all year round. Otherwise, I am enjoying watching you explore your interests and learning new stuff. It's very satisfying and entertaining

That's why I have so much respect for this young woman and There's a huge list of things I respect about her I love how she takes care of her dog this might take care of my dog I love the fact that she's not going Film something and Do something that does not truly speak to her and she's not going to do it for views And she's not interested In living a life to appease People and what they think Of how she should do things because If we all step back and take a big huge look at things this world just seems to be getting crappier know better and so I love how she truly does things for herself and goes at her own pace and does what she wants and doesn't go with whatever one says or thinks should be done she truly stays true to herself and I love that about her

I believe you're doing great living on land you love and building different things as you're inspired to do them. Just owning property isn't cheap, so you do you and enjoy the natural beauty. If it starts feeling like work, stop rethink and do something you enjoy. A stationary house will come if it's meant to be.

About jump start, small termina is negotive and bigger is positive, also if you are using postive access point , make sure its not coming through your fuce board or any other cricuits in your vehicle. since when you start the car its taking hight current and that may damage circuits and fuces , just a hint , good luck

Your priorities are spot on. I’d do it exactly the same way. Have you ever thought about bamboo? Lots of types for different zones. Quick growing like a grass and great for a building resource, etc. 🐺

I just wanted to drop a line and say, I love getting glimpses of your life, I love the music you pick for your videos. I find them so calming and inspiring at the same time. My husband and I just completed renovating a new community acupuncture clinic space. We received the keys Aug 1 and the last 6 weeks have been intense trying to get it ready. But each time I tackled a new thing, I had your videos in my down time. Our drywall patches aren’t perfect and we Frankensteined the floor together and nothing is very perfect - but man it looks beautiful. Love this life of learning as we go and most importantly CREATING. PS I’ll never stop weightlifting. I love it. Keeps me feeling younger.
