BATTLE OF THE FOIL TRANSFER GLUES - 3 Types - WHO WILL WIN? 🤔⁉ | How to Apply Nail Transfer Foils

  • Hey guys! 👋
    I've had questions from a few people on how to transfer nail foils to get a full coverage application, so I thought I would make a video to show you how I do it, and also, which are the best glues to use.
    My favorite foil transfer glue is the ModelOnes Glue Gel, but the star nails foil glue is great too, it really just depends on preference, and if you have a UV lamp.
    The best way to apply these glues to get a full coverage transfer is to let it dry a little longer than you really think you need to. And for the gel glue, don't over cure it, but once it has been cured, let it air dry for 60 seconds before you apply your foils. This will allow the glue to get a little tackier, and you'll get that full transfer you're looking for 😊
    I'll have another video out soon with some looks incorporating nail foils, so if you are interested in seeing that, make sure you hit subscribe so you don't miss out.
    As always, if you have any questions, suggestions, or requests for different sets, let me know down below, I love to hear from you guys! ❤️

    I definitely wanna try the gel foil glue !! I have the star one and I’m having a hard time using it idk if it’s me or the product

      It’s the product, not you.
      If you want a foil glue gel, get the melodysusie one, it’s the best I’ve ever used and my favorite by far

      Same like it does not transfer the complete foil onto the nail

    The modelones looked pretty good. I have the glue one too. It works well. Thanks for the comparison 💜

    Nice experimentation comparison, Painted Polished n Pretty. These three brand polishes have different uses. The Star Glue is for regular polish with air-dry. The Modelones Foil Glue is mean for foil strips that transfer foil art directly from the film. The Grip Gel from SheModern is for the foil water decal placement, not foil strip transfer. The Grip Gel has slippery surface after curing under LED light for easy re-positioning the thin foil decal film, result in clean foil arts 100% of the time because the foil arts already on the decal film. The Grip Gel has no sticky, tape-like surface like the Modelones Foil Glue that has sticky surface to transfer the foil art from the foil film strip. Different products has different use purposes. 😍💕

      I know they all have different uses, that’s why I tried them all. And I used yours here because someone had asked if it could be used that way and I said i wasn’t sure but I’d give it a try. I did link the video where I use your product the correct way.
      I’ve just had some questions about different glues and which are the best so I thought I’d try them all. The star glue is a foil transfer glue though. It does air dry, and that is how I used it. I did use that one in the correct way

    Awesome sauce
    Thanks for the video
    I am very new to doing my own DIYZ nails at home by Chaia which is me, lol!!.
    Anyways I would like to say that Modelones has rocked in every single product that I've purchased so far. A matter of fact I purchased a couple different types of Polygel nail kits. I found myself wanting to continuously pick up the modelones top coat even when I am only doing gel color polish.
    It goes on so so pretty to me
    Thanks for sharing the video..
    It is so nice to me to be able to go to a video and watch & learn. Thank you so very much
    I wish you much

    I used star glue witch i thought it did and amazing transfer, but within a week of wear it started chipping the uv top coat (Shine-E, Max Estrada. This is by far the best no wipe top coat, it never chips but with the Star Glue it did.)

    • @P3Nails
      @P3Nails  4 роки тому +1

      Yea, it’s a pretty common thing that foil transfers chip easier. I would suggest that you make sure to really wrap the top coat around the edges of the nail so it has a better chance of staying on.
      I like the gel glue much better than the stair glue, I haven’t had any wear or chipping issues when using it 😊

    • @arleneortega7920
      @arleneortega7920 4 роки тому

      Even with covering the edges it seems to still peel. I have to try the Gel glue. I bought it just haven't opened it. How many seconds would u say to leave it in lamp without over cooking.
      Good video. :)

    I have had crap luck with the Modelones. It seems to be so many variations. I'll try the letting it cool next. If not I'm moving on to Daily Charms which is pricey, but I am sick of not getting a full transfers. Any foil brands you like?

    • @P3Nails
      @P3Nails  3 роки тому

      Actually my absolute favorite is melodysusie. It’s a 30 second cure time, you don’t have to wait for it to air dry after, and I get full transfers way way more often with just sometimes where I have to tap in the tiny missed patches. It’s my #1 fave that I’ve bought again cause it’s so good, definitely better than modelones or any others I’ve tried so far 😊
