I love your channel and really appreciate your honest reviews. I bought the PTR product, tried it a few times, then threw it into a drawer as it didn't work. A year or so later I saw a UA-cam review from a woman who had success applying it with a cotton bud (Q tip). I couldn't imagine a cotton bud working when my fingertip didn't, but I tried it, and it did. I use about a half a pea size amount for each under eye, applying it to clean, dry skin, gently moving the cotton bud back and forth. If I don't use enough for it to feel wet when applying it, it doesn't work. I then tap it with my fingertips, blend the edges, then fan it with my hand or blow dry it with cool air. Drying it quickly seems to be the key. My under eye bags totally disappear and the effect lasts all day. I haven't tried mixing it with makeup. It works over makeup, but not as well, and it doesn't last anywhere near as long. Applying makeup over the top doesn't work, at least not for me. I once tried it on my upper eyelids and saw no change. The application can still be a bit hit or miss for me, but when it works, it does so extremely well.

I bought the PTR from Amazon.. I am going to be 60 soon and do have lower bags... I did have upper and lower bleph in 2007.. wow.. great procedure.. took my look back 10 years.. it lasted about 10 to 12 years... I would do it again if I could afford it... Under anesthesia. Its about $10k here in the US... I definitely will check into having it done by local anesthesia for a lot less expensive... In the meantime the Peter Thomas Roth product actually showed significant results for the under eye area... but you have to be careful and not get it too close to the lower lash line because as it tightens the skin it actually pulls down and had pulled my lid away from my eyeball which I quickly remedied by taking a q-tip and getting it wet and just wiping the product off in that particular area and then my eyelid went back up against my eyeball.. lol. I also tried it on upper skin right below the eyebrows but it pulled the eyebrows down so I just quickly removed it with a washcloth... I did see the white residue and the biggest problem is going to put makeup on in any makeup or concealers that have water in them will shorten the time of how long the product will work for you.. my skin is dry around my eyes so I do need some type of moisture so this doesn't really work out for me and I will be returning it.
Very nicely done. First time watching your videos and I stuck with it through the end. As man, I’m not using makeup (not that there’s anything wrong with that, LOL), so having a residue leftover wouldn’t work for me. I just needing a little lift to the lids. The woman who did my filler gave me some of the strips. I completely forgot I had them on since I couldn’t feel them, but my bf noticed. It was embarrassing, so I don’t wear them anymore. For a photo shoot it would be ideal tho.
Interesting. Just had a look and see it includes squalane, hyaluronic acid and amino acids. It’s got the potential to really hydrate your skin which will help give your lids a slight lift. Got to say, tretinoin is the very best thing I’ve tried for eyelid rejuvenation.
@@thehonestchannel I did not know you can put tretinoin on your eyelids, i thought it was too strong but will give it a try. Thanks! And you look beautiful by the way🥰

I wear this product and it works for me on my bags and it does tighten and lift my saggy upper lids. I think you didn’t apply it right. You have to gently rub it on and take a fan to speed up drying. Patting it has a different effect than rubbing/gently spreading it on.
I think it depends on the type of eyebags you have ig. Fat vs swollen is two different problems. I've tried PTR, Dr. Brant No baggage and the residue shows, or it fails after a few hours.😮 If you're skin is medium to deeper it looks like reverse panda. It will also cause the aging skin that isn't treated or applied to gather up. I have tried other eye tighters that work better but your eyes feel dry and itchy, and sore after use.
Those 'magic' stickers seem amazing to create a more prominent double eyelid. And how interesting that they hardly can be seen. I wonder if they can be seen at certain angle under certain lighting though. It feels kind of insecure to be wearing them indeed. Also since eyelid skin is already not youthful as younger women, manipulating that area, tugging, stretching, pulling the stickers off etc will not help make the skin younger.
I was surprised by how well they blend in but in certain lights and angles it might be possible to for others to notice them. My eyes are so hooded that it caused the skin to fold over them so that would be less of an issue but I felt overall that I would be self-conscious wearing them and they gave me a bit of an odd look
These left my 64 year old undereye dry as a bone. There was liquid in jar but I've never had eye patches (and most were much cheaper) leave my skin without any liquid to rub in. I don't know if I got a bad batch or they are made for younger women.
I have developed a significant puffiness under my left eye. I have tried lots of products and found Westmoreland Beauty’s under eye tinted product works well. I don’t think you can use it on your eyelid, though.
I believe the secret to making the Peter Thomas Roth product work is not to rub it all over your face, but to apply a very small amount topically, to the wrinkle you are trying to fill. It's a precision job, not a quick get-it-over-and-done-with treatment. Also, the eyelid strips should be applied to the outer edges of your eyes, not the middle.
Bought the Phillip Roth product because of that tiktok lady. It really does remove the eyebags, however! a big however, here - it disappears if you but move or touch your eyebags just a wee bit. It's like when one applies egg white to the skin, it stretches the skin but gets 'peeled' away, and the whitish stuff is so annoying - as, if you do try to get rid of the whitish-sand-ey residue, the bags sag back again. I mix it w/ make up a bit but then the results are only like 1/4 noticeable. All in all - 2/5. My hopes were dashed to pieces.
I find with all these tightening creams end up drying my eyes out and accentuating fine lines. I tried the Dr Brandt under eye No Baggage cream - avoid this, I don't reccommend. PTR is better but still leaves my eyes too dry
Glad you're finding them helpful. I'll do a video dedicated to the different things I use on my eyelids because I think the slight lift I've got is not down to any one treatment or product. This is my most recent review of an eyelid device which you may find helpful ua-cam.com/video/rjcH42rjc6I/v-deo.html
Personally, I don't think you are seeing results because you look pretty good anyway. Your wrinkles or puffiness under the eyes is hardly noticeable to begin with. You need to do this again in 20 years.
I use PTR with excellent success after moisturizing heavily and then adding concealer and makeup. The key is to let it all sink in and absorb. Wait 30 minutes. Then put a very light amount of PTR on. It works. I apply the PTR the last thing before walking out the door.
I saw all the video so I bought the Peter Thomas Roth firmx eye product. When I first tried it I thought it was the best thing ever. But as I used it more I notice it wasn't working as well I don't know if as you get further down the bottle it doesn't work I was getting more residue and not enough firming
I find that PTR works amazing for the under eye area for tightening loose skin or for bags, you have neither. My issue is it seems to irritate my skin under my eyes if used to much, so it will have to be used for special occasions, which is disappointing. LOL, I see my review went under my husbands account. But this review is coming from a woman.
If this product actually worked the way it says it does, it would cost hundreds of pounds. Truth is, it's rubbish. 2 egg whites applied with a pastry brush would give better results. 😂
I have a few very fine lines I thought the product was genuine but unfortunately it is not It is a scam with fake reviewers and very carefully edited videos Do not fool for the scam.

Hi! I think you’re 2 young for both products!!! Your face, I mean a skin looks great!
Thank you! Turning 50 soon so that’s lovely to hear 😊
Sorry to hear that. I was disappointed too.
You're not getting results from PTR because you are not applying it correctly.
Absolutely! And you're not supposed to put on eyelids .
I find with all these tightening creams end up drying my eyes out and accentuating fine lines. I tried the Dr Brandt under eye No Baggage cream - avoid this, I don't reccommend. PTR is better but still leaves my eyes too dry
Thanks for sharing your experience.
I USED MINE YESTERDAY AND MY BAGS DIDN'T GO AWAY. WERE THE SAME WITHOUT NOT USING ANYTHING
Thanks for sharing your experience here.
Peter Thomas Roth is like a a Elmer's glue and it does work... you didn't apply it correctly
Thank you! I appreciate ur videos! Very informative. Did you find anything for upper eyelid tightening?
Glad you're finding them helpful. I'll do a video dedicated to the different things I use on my eyelids because I think the slight lift I've got is not down to any one treatment or product. This is my most recent review of an eyelid device which you may find helpful ua-cam.com/video/rjcH42rjc6I/v-deo.html
I had an Asian fried that used to cut scotch tape pieces and put on her lid to give her a fold on her upper lid
Personally, I don't think you are seeing results because you look pretty good anyway. Your wrinkles or puffiness under the eyes is hardly noticeable to begin with. You need to do this again in 20 years.
Thank you. In 20 years I’ll be 70!
It says not to use eye, cream or moisturizers. That’s tough, because I like to moisturize my face. Before putting any product on.
Same.
I use PTR with excellent success after moisturizing heavily and then adding concealer and makeup. The key is to let it all sink in and absorb. Wait 30 minutes. Then put a very light amount of PTR on. It works. I apply the PTR the last thing before walking out the door.
If you view their website, they say not to put it on your upper eyelid
I’m wondering if this helps under. I have it the Peter one I see it works but the amount I need it leaves white under my eye. Uggg
I do think it likely works better for under eye bags but, yeah, the residue is annoying
I’d rather have a slight bite residue than aging wrinkles!
Ha! That’s definitely one way to look at it 😀
I saw all the video so I bought the Peter Thomas Roth firmx eye product. When I first tried it I thought it was the best thing ever. But as I used it more I notice it wasn't working as well I don't know if as you get further down the bottle it doesn't work I was getting more residue and not enough firming
Thanks for sharing your experience
It works best for bags under your eyes. Which you don't really have.
Thanks for sharing your experience. It does seem to work better for under eyes.
Ulta in USA it's 24 USD
I love your content. It would be helpful if you had much better lighting.
I agree the lighting wasn’t great on this one. I have learned since.
Hi !could you review the Rio 60-Second
You don't see a difference bc you don't have a single puff or wrinkle to start with, literally perfect skin.
U really dun have eye bags tho. U should of gotten a person with eye bags to try all products . 🤣🤣😍
Fibroblasting upper eyes work-i do it.
Thanks for the tip. I had a few Tixel sessions a few years back which is similar. It helped a bit.
The strips work really well, just a pain to get them even
Why would you skip over when you actually apply it?$!! 😩
Do you have a video review on potent lift? Or serious skin insta tox?
I don’t I’m afraid
PTR does not leave a white residue
She said if your worried about white residue with this product it does not leave a residue
How to buy this product from India??
I don't know about suppliers in India, sorry. Usually something would come up locally with a Google search if options are available.
Ok..thank u
You're suppose to use with moisturizer
You didn't apply it (PRT) right. Just sayin'
Definitely the strips you’ve done were not done in the right spot lol - and the Roth cream I’d think you’d have to put it on the hooded area well.
You're putting the peter roth on the wrong way. You're supposed to smear a very thin layer on then let it dry without moving your face. Dont pat it on
Why using so many fingers to pat it in. 😡
I actually think it looks worse with those strips.
On a whim I put PTR on my sagging jowls. It worked!😊
Good honest reviews 15:50
If this product actually worked the way it says it does, it would cost hundreds of pounds. Truth is, it's rubbish. 2 egg whites applied with a pastry brush would give better results. 😂
😂
Your a beautiful lady...thanks for the reviews..
Thank you! 😊
your dropping eyelids overshadowed the eye bags
Haha. Harsh but fair.
No difference with the eyelid ap
Omg just have an upper blephroplasty and spare yourself all the “test-driving”
😂 There is that, but I have convinced myself I can do it without going under the knife.
@@thehonestchannel okay i had it done after a lot of considering the negative but it’s truly worth the while.
No creams can do what a surgeon can 💯
@@clerouxbotha2784 That’s true! Glad it worked out for you.
It looks like you'd benefit from a non surgical blepharoplasty
I saw an immediate difference in your face the wrinkles aren't there
You put it in the wrong spot
You don't have many wrinkles
Thanks Elizabeth. I turn 50 soon so that’s good to hear 👍
You got no proper bags tho ?
I was hoping for a lift to my upper lids.
Stop tapping and patting PTR, you massage it to the skin.
😳
I just wear sunglasses. Problem solved.
you are beautiful!
Thank you 😊
I have a few very fine lines I thought the product was genuine but unfortunately it is not It is a scam with fake reviewers and very carefully edited videos Do not fool for the scam.
