Never realized how much deliberation and craftsmanship went into making the music you guys produce, but boy, it delivers! Each track on the album is a well rounded diamond shining in many directions. Apart from that, the fact that so many artists want to work with you, is telling also about the character of the band and you lot personally. A true gem in today's music scene.
This was their best album, and they don’t have any bad albums. Insanely well put together in every way.
Their best? No way. No way.
Maybe it'll grow on me but personally I don't like it as much as Dark All Day.

Love the new album..."Blood for the Blood God" is my hands down favorite.
For me, Gunship has been a story of steady development and exploration. Unicorn was a step up once again. A refreshingly unique sound despite all the retro influences intrinsic to the band's usual genre leanings. The production side has also improved. Only have good things to say. Thanks for sharing this. Makes me appreciate the album even more. Pick it up if you get the chance!
Tech noir 2 is the work of genius. THE best way to understand is to play them back to back. SUPERB
Anything with Charlie Simpson's voice on it is instant gold.

Such a dope album. Can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s great to see them push The whole synthwave thing forward and not get stuck in a rut of “retro just because”.
Unicorn will be a great album to TOUR. They needed more upbeat tunes to carry a live performance.
Black sun & tech noir hold a special place 🖤

With the recent revelation that Fightstar are reforming I'd be interested to know what Alex and Dan think of Busted nowadays as I always remember back in the day how Dan particularly made it clear he couldn't stand them yet was willing to be in a band with their frontman, I wonder if rather like me they've grown to appreciate and respect Busted more now with hindsight as a brilliant Pop-Punk trio.

Holographic Heart is likely my favorite track on the album, and I am just now finding out that Britta was the singing voice of Jem!
You guys hit my radar HARD and I'm loving what you are doing. Any chance you might colab with Manowar, The Art of Noise, Alestorm or Psychostic ? Keep experimenting and growing you powers!!! LOL a video based on a battle of the bands with Jem and the Holograms V.S. The Misfits and The Groovie Goolies redone to look cool, with maybe a Gorillaz cameo could be sweet !!

These three guys are INSANELY talented. The bummer about this video is exactly what I think hurts the album: too many damn collabs and guest appearances! The only one that works and actually sounds like Gunship is "Monster in Paradise". Half the album sounds like "other guest featuring Gunship". The best songs on this album are the ones that don't feature anyone. "Send me an angel" is a fantastic cover. I'm glad the fellas had fun making this record but it is easily their 3rd best to date. Hopefully next time they stick to their own sound, and if the MUST use guest vocals, they use artists that compliment Gunship... not the other way around.
I can see what you mean by that. Though strangely I liked it more because every song had a really different flavour to it. In particular, holographic heart seems the best of the Collabs for me. along with DOOM Dance. In particular Blood God and Weaponised love are just fantastic. But I can totally see why you dislike it, because it does feel that it could be catering to the collabs. I personally really liked it for this album though, and it's probably one of the few albums I listen to cover to cover, as apposed to picking songs off of it.
