Hi Treeckosaurus - thanks so much for all the great content. I had a question regarding Colonist IO, when the bank resource and development card piles are hidden with question marks - can anyone please tell me pile amount ranges? (?,??,???) E.g. is ??? 14 to 19 cards? I saw it once on a YT video but can't find the answer anywhere online. Cheers.
I think I would have taken the 6 9 5 ore sheep brick, pointing my road toward the 9 10 sheep wood, with the plan of placing my second settlement on the 10 9 sheep wheat dessert and point my road toward the 3:1.
@@Treeckosaurus Looking at it again, I think your position is better. I was prioritizing good expansion spots in my suggestion but in reality someone could of taken the 10 11 9 sheep wheat wheat spot and even if I got the 10 9 sheep wheat dessert I would probably be racing for the 3:1 port with whoever went on the 8 10 5 ore sheep wheat (and I wouldn't even be on any wood yet).
Hey treeckosaurus, glad to see a new video, hope u will reach your goal! As first position i would take the 8 5 10 ore wheat sheep. U will share the ore spot, but u will also have a better port relative to the 6 4 9 and u will get ore on the high ore board.
I would've popped a dev instead of citying the 8 ore near the end(11:24), popping a dev is both safer and leaves you flexible to road settle or dev if wheat rolls, as well as perhaps sneaking road with a road buildng/yop +5
Problem with CU Elo Rankings is that Top ranks are locked up by exploiters (pairs who intentionally collude to finish 1st and 2nd). And worst is that CU admins are extremely hesitant and ignorant to take any proper action on them or to make exploiting impossible in first place.
@@Treeckosaurus To make things clear - The Top 5 you have in your tumbnail is Clean, they all moved to first Ranks when CU finally removed all exploiters (around year ago). As they did nothing to prevent further exploits, obviously it is again full of exploiters…
Ya that’s true I have played with a few people who were were doing. Always the same 2 opponents in three player and they would get first and second with questionable plays and trades. I wondered how they always both got into the same game? But ya I just went on now and it looks like they hot rid of the cheaters I think so that’s good
You’re the man Treeck, love your videos! Hoping to not run into you again on Catan universe, never works out well for me ;)
Hahaha, was fun playing you - you play well!

??? 19 - 14
?? 13 - 7
? 6 - 1
0 = 0
Not 100% sure, I will ask some people who know more
@@Treeckosaurus thanks for replying, much appreciated :)
The numbers are correct.

Makes sense. Do you feel like you would prefer to play with the 6/9/5 + 9/10 set-up or the one I played with?

My first thought was 6/9/5 as well, but after placing it out I came to the same conclusion.

I agree! Would you have pointed to the 3:1 port or the sheep-port? I had some discussion about this yesterday.
@@Treeckosaurus yes i would. Its not sure that the 4 5 11 would be open so 3:1 is safer and i do like having the more flexibility!
What plays would you have made differently?

Yeah good point! I agree with it
What was your rank after this game?
My ELO after this game was 1318. I think around 40th
Wow a random video that caught my attention , wonderful and interesting :) worth Subbing and liking it. a fellow creator

I hope to upload tomorrow!

I don't know if that's the case, so I'll take your word for it.

ah okay gotcha, on their behalf: thanks for clarifying!
